Imagine this if you were in a wallmartand they announced gray compact, small car has its lights left on. You would empty out half the store. We are driving Gumby cars, they look almost the same and it is hard to tell what model it is till you get up close.

Russell an afterthought you may be able to put some paper or cotton,Qtips? in some of the holes and put a little vasaline petrolium jelly on them, this has the same effect as tape.

Well at least you are getting close to being done russell,if it comes out not looking to good you might consider taking it too the auto shop and have them do it for $50.00. I have been told in the past candy apple is hard too do.the temratures you are working in do not help at all as paint continues to cure and the colder it is the longer it takes.JJJ thats amazing 60 cans, sounds expensive.I love the black Ford F100 that Rick owns on that show,I wish I could afford too buy one like it.

I have a 1999 Ford Taurus with barely 50k on it,it was a IBM fleet exc.car. I have never really had any large issues with it.only tires, brakes etc. The ford Taurus seems too be the solid car of the last couple of decades. I do miss driving older larger cars I liked the Mercurys they were great.

Cool zurf, sounds like a Peanuts cartoon (charlie Brown Lucy and the gang)

Good one badeye,no sour lemons in that song!

Thanks cam,he is also my favorite Beatle, and one of my ultimate entertainers. It was too bad john and paul would not let him put more than one or two songs he wrote on any album. He was also the one who was happy about thier breakup,it let him use alot of his songs he wrote on his own albums.

the color has been around for a long time,I would almost bet it was on apples first and someone copied it to paint. Hey I guess we answered the which one was first as it is called "candy apple", I remember alot of street rods with the color and you can still see one now and then.

Russell, ever wonder were candy apple red was started at,I wonder if the candie apple's we get at fairs carnivals etc. were first. This could be another which came first like the chicken or the egg.

Russell sounds like you are getting closer to finishing date,I hope you have still been getting some pics of your progress so we can see it.

I am a little confused, was that you and your friend we heard or Alan ( forgot the last name) Good sounding tune. Sounds alot like a Bob Dylan tune but faster and some bluesey influence thrown in.
