I saw a post where some was looking for tears in heaven the other day, I thought that's one I have not played in a while. so I dusted it off,  here's a little instrumental of it still has few rough spots need some more practice

I'm getting a "photo not found" message on the picture of the poster, Mo', but I'm pretty sure I forgot to put your name on it. If I did, please excuse me and thank you very much for your well wishes, my friend!

Bill

I have said yes and no, had one guy ask to play my Taylor. he had been working on his truck, told him I didn't even want him to touch the case with his greasy hands

Well having posted songs on MySpace, sound cloud and our stage in the past linking them on Chordie. I can say there never seems to be a correlation between the number of views on Chordie and the plays or for that matter comments on Chordie.
I think this also true to if you take in the comments and plays on the host site itself.
I know I don't comment on everything I listen to so looking for logic in the numbers is probably looking for something that's not there.
That's my theory.

I think your right there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. i wonder if the entire song has to play on sound cloud or if someone starts to listen and moves on does it count as a play?

ok so I was looking at the tracks in my sound cloud noticed the number of plays on each track, some way more than others. I was not surprised at my most listened to track what surprised me was when I compared the number of times the track had been played to the number of views on chordae for the same track. most played track was 179 but only 315 views on chordae. most viewed on chordae was 1330 but only 42 plays on sound cloud after looking all of the tracks there was absolutely no correlation between views and how many times the track was played. this is the only place I post links to sound cloud so I just found that to be odd. any way just an observation

hope every one had a happy thanks giving .

ok I am going to bend the ear of my musical friends, what do you do when you just don't feel like playing? do you ever go through periods like that? I force myself to pick up the guitar everyday just to keep my fingers in shape but it is just that forced and not really enjoyable. I know it will pass and I will get back into it, it always does I just never know how long it will take. I guess im just a fair weather guitar player.

The Brady Bunch managed to squeek that one out last night ... crazy game. A sportscaster today noted that the only 3 undefeated teams left in the NFL are named after cats:

The Cincinnati Bengals
The Carolina Panthers
The New England Cheatahs

I'm a Pats fan, but that's still very funny. lol

Go Pats.   what a game....

badeye    cool

you can scratch the bungles off that list thanks to the Texans, about the only team they seem to be able to beat
