hi zurf,
i wrote a song the other day while i was having new windows put in, well the stuff they use, some kind of solvent or something, really spun my head as i went right off track and wrote some weird lines. now you must realise that i went through the whole of the 60's without polluting my body with any form of stimulant, and here i was as high as a kite! so worry not i've heard sgt. peppers and most of pink Floyd, so no problem, just keep em coming

you've certainly got a way with words, and i hope you get this song listened to, and don't we all wish we could dump those lying thieving politicians yes theyre just as bad here in the uk, our petrol [gas] costs us over £5.00 per gallon, you can work out your self how much that is in dollars! and most of it is tax, and the rest is profit for the oil companies.

funnily enough i only had one sleepless night of nursing each of my 4 kids, they never used to wake up for the 2 o'clock feed after the second week! lucky or what?
but having said that, when my wife went into hospital for our third baby, a girl, our oldest son had to go to another hospital, 10 miles away to have his appendix out, the same night, so i had a couple of sleepless nights there, commuting from one hospital to another, then work in the morning, but as you say, if i could do it again, i wouldn't change a thing.

i don't want to be picky, but i believe it's spelt arpeggio, meaning plucked and running up and down the piano keys, or indeed the guitar strings, or even the fiddle!!!

all i can say about writers block is, not to force it, if it's there it will come itself.
on the other hand, if you play guitar, try to learn a new instrument, that usually gets my juices flowing.
or, try writing down 20 or so potential titles, then try writing a song around each, some may be crap, but some may also be good.
