Congratulations  on your 35 year anniversary and with the band at 46 years you are extensively good at commitments. And I mean that in a great way!

He was very smooth in how he sang and think he was better than the backup singer was. Have not heard a  blues singer as smooth as him and  he sounded  almost  like a big band singer.  If you have listed to this one please take the time to listen . This is a good one.

I just read her biography and it is impressive to say the least. She does have an extensive knowledge of classical guitar and her biography is worth anyone's to read it.

Good song and well written and played. You have never sounded anything but good on any song you have written and sung,. You sound like a folk a folk singer and I mean that in a very good way. Peter Paul & Mary  and Kingston Trio and others too.

I really enjoyed this one. Looked as though she had some classical training and she was great.  Very restrained how she played and you hit it right she sounded  eerie.

I miss seeing him too. He was very active and then he seemed to stop. I hope he is back within a couple of days.  We have emailed a few times  but have not heard from him lately.

Jade it was  about you without saying so.

I just listened to them and nice songs played nicely and sung so  so well.  Shows  some work on your part and it sounded natural.

It worked for me too. If you are still having problems try down load cleaner from : cleaner.com and be sure you pick the free version. I it  rated as the best and one of the most used.

My teacher wanted me to use a longer and stiffer bow. It made me sound like a terrible stretch sound.  So I am back with a llighter bow . I want to play well and still not give up my normal practice time on classical guitar.

Muddy Waters is always a great choice. I am guessing none of them playing including the piano player could read music. What they all did came from singing the blues.  A  nice  find.

Charles Krauthammer died ytoday at the age of 68.  Between June 8th when he wrote his last note and today was not that long. The world has lost an icon  and his loss will leave a void that non other can fill.

welcome to Chordie.  Here is a l ink to how cellos are ranked : https://www.ranker.com/list/best-cello- … r-shopping

As far as price the prices will depend on how much you want to spend.  The cost when I looked ran from $250 to over $5,000 in US  dollars.  Here is a link to just one place and prices on each:     https://www.guitarcenter.com/Cellos.gc# … cyCode=USD

If you plan on taking lessons I would suggest you check with your instructor and find out what he/she suggest what you should start with before you buy something.

That was impressive. And you are right on with  Paula Cole's voice blending so nicely with his voice. I don't actually think this sounded like  Prog  music at least to my ears.

Very good find. The picks he uses I have seen on some banjo players but not guitars before seeing this. Liked his singing and he was unique.

You might want to reconsider specially if you can read normal music. I played Moonlight Sonata on my forth lesson. At least for me Violin seems easier than when I first took lessons to learn classical  and I took lessons from two instructors at the time.  Th e biggest difference is you learn position without frets. Once you learn that part the rest is practice. I have a friend who plays an electric freetless bass and he sounds very good. His bass has a neck with a steeper pitch than a standard bass.

I have started to take Violin lessons.  Are there any other Violin  players? My instructor heard me play  classical guitar before and said a violin would be easier to learn. It still fills funny to hold and play but with 4 strings I am determined to learn it well.

What is the date of that ?
