I have taught two lefties. One did not pass reading music. The other became a very good player.,and he bought very good left hand classical guitar. Playing from music is universal so at some point the hand they play does not matter.  I think it is harder if you are teaching chords to change thinking.

This one was enjoyable, and with at times a strange combination of instruments that sounded great.

eppy55 strings make a tremendous difference as you have found already. I play classical and the same guitars with the wrong strings sounds and plays differently than using the right string. And the right tension is just as important. What tension  is the strings you are using?

Thank you . He is a great player and showed respect for his guitar.  Good clean playing with a hard song to play.

I ordered  enough2001 Medium Tension Classical   LaBella Strings for a year for 8 classical guitars. They sound better and last longer than the same ProArte  strings and the LaBella strings are longer and much easier to  install. I can  strings in 1/2 the time. These are by far the best strings I have ever used.

At first I thought it was serious. It was so funny and they did a great job to keep it funny. Good find.

You did say however did you buy one? If so congratulations.  I promised myself I would not buy anything else. At least for a year or two.

A very good poem and true too. I have some friends that has lasted for years, and some since early childhood. Others are friends for a year or two and then disappear.  A short poem that says a lot.

He is good, I just can not get used to seeing a great guitar beat up and marked buy using it as a drum. Look at the marks on his guitar. How many of you would treat your guitar like he does? I take great pride in not having a mark on any  of my guitars.

Thank you and I watched the video. It is surprising since even on the tour of Mt. Vernon our guide said he had wooden teeth. Guess he needed more training. I can see from his dentures why he never smiled.  I would think eating at all was hard for anyone who wore the early dentures. Can you imagine going to an early dentist with the pain that went with it? Makes you wonder how many teeth the early dentist had.

I have read that Washington had wooden teeth and years ago when we went to Mt. Vernon that is also what they were made from wood painted white.  I guess white paint also contained lead.

I changed strings today with LaBella 2001 Medium Tension Classical Guitar Strings on two identical guitars. Two hours after changing them and turning both I was able to play them for almost an hour each. I have never been able to do that before. Tomorrow I will order a case of the LaBella strings. One thing that is really different on the LaBella strings is the marker on each is a marker on each sting is a plastic marker that slides off each string. On Pro Arte stings it is a paper marker that leave glue on the strings so I always cut that end off. Also the LaBella strings are 6 inches per strings longer than the Pro Arte. The ease of playing and sound is better than any strings I have tried.  So after using Pro Arte normal tension for many years,  I have a new favorite. Wish I had tried LaBella years before.

A  couple of days ago there was 21 Chordie members logged in and after looking I was the only one who posts.  None of the others logged in had ever posted. Why is that and what can we do to get more members active?
Why do members log in to read parts of  Chordie and do not take time to comment?

I think if more would  post would allow us to be better.
We have some active members who I have not seen posting recently and I miss them too.

LoveFeliciano. He plays great and his technique is as good or better than many and to think he can not see is fantastic. He must have had a great teacher at one  point. i have watched him for a long time and his  technique shows true talent. He can not see but he feels what he plays and sings.
