I've seen Willie twice, once with Leon Russell, the other time, at least right now it escapes my mind who was with him, maybe it'll come to me later. I've been to so many concerts, "in my day, "my earlier days that is" that lots of them I can't remember much anymore, there's another thread that mentions "what was your first concert, I actually can't remember now who it was. But I've been forunate to see many big names many times over. While I'm sure I throughly enjoyed most of them, I often wonder at how much money I spent going, to see all these concerts and what kind of guitars I could have had, had I saved that money, oh well, it was worth it at the time.

I've Seen Dylan Twice, the Stones, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter, Doc Watson Several Times, John Cougar, Pink Floyd, The Band, Rod Stewart several times, The Who, The Greatful Dead, Bob Seger, Neil Young, Crosby Stills Nash And Young, J Geils Band, Humble Pie, ZZ Top, allman Bros's many times, Marshall Tucker many times,Jerry Jeff Walker, twice, hey wait, thats who else was Willie When I see him the other time! Lynard Skynard, saw them 3 times, once before they ever made it to the big time, actually wound up on their bus after they played a small club in South Carolina "Cheraw SC" Jackson Browne several times,John Prine Several times, and of course Jimmy Buffett 3 times, some of the forgotten bands now like Uriah Heep, Canned Heat,Savoy Brown, Ten Years After, Brownsville Station, the list could go on and on. However Two people that I have missed that I always wanted to see that I missed was Clapton, and James Taylor, had my chances, but didn't go for reasons that "as before" I can't remember.

But as everyone here that has read my posts, you've heard me mention "Goose Creek Symphony" I would not be exagerating when I say I've seen them at least 60 to 70 times over the years, since the early 70's, ok I've worked my mind enough for one night, as I said I've seen many more, but I'm old now, just an old geezer who can't remember it all.

Opps, never mind, I see GuitarPix beat me to it, sorry I couldn't be more help, I did see a song by Weeser that had similar lyric's, I'm not familiar with their music, though I've heard of them, just not quite my taste to be honest, though I know lots of people like them, so check that out.

Well, I'm just glad that Per is the man on the job and that he has everything straighted out now. I noticed last evening about 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time that Chordie was down. I'm not sure how many hours ahead of us he is in Norway, but Per must have stayed up mighty late to work this out, my hats off to Per, thanks so much Per, we all really appreciate you!

Great Story GuitarPix, I can imagine how she felt when she realized she was folling the wrong car, and the lady she was following had to be scared to death.

Great Poem to StranSongs, I've never in all my time in Chordie ever even looked at the poem section until now, I'll have to visit more often.

Hey Guys,

I've found that if you go to the Chordie site, that  when it comes up in an error, the little login thing is still there, click logout, and the page will appear as it's suppose to, then click forum, then look over to the login, and you can login that way, but as long as you getting in however you are, then I guess that means I'm just rambling agian, glad to know I'm not alone here.

Hi Gtx,

As I understand it, Per has been notified and I'm sure he'll fix the problem as soon as he can. I can't log in the way I normally do, but by going to a different login part I can get in,  in the section where it has search, login ect, but no songbook.

Hi KajiMa,

Nope, thats just me with to much time on my hands, I ponder things!

Like -- If a cop arrest's a mime- do they tell him he has the right to remain silent.

I don't know, I struggle with things like this.

Hi Zurf,

I'm glad your ok and feeling better. The same thing happened to my beautiful wife sometime back, she has fibromyalgia "hope thats spelled close enough" but she was feeling fine when all of a sudden she atarted having bad chest pains, I took her to the local hospital, they said she was not having a heart attack, even though they gave her the nitro-glycerine pills and everything, but they didn't give her a thorough exam, so I took her up towards Topdowns neck of the woods to Wake Forest Babtist Medical Center, they ran her through the mill, checked out everything, in the end, they were sure that her Fibromyalgia caused her to feel as if she a had a heart attack. So I'm just wondering if you had ever been checked for that, just a thought. Hoping you stay healthy, we'd all miss you here!

Hang in there Syd1994, life gets so much easier after High School "Just Kidding"

I remember high school as a freshman, it can be very overwhelming at times but, after awhile it gets easier to cope with the stress of everyday lifeas a high schooler. It can actually become one of the great experiances of your life if you let it. Good luck with your transition and I'm sure that some of our younger crowd on here "there are some" who are experiancing the same thing, just remember that every other Freshman feel just as you do, so don't let it rattle you to much.

I find sometimes when I use notepad to print out songs"which I like because it's bigger print, I can read it better", that sometimes it moves the chords, but I go behind it and proof read it, then as  Deadstring I think it was mentioned earlier in the a post I correct it by hand.

Hi Missmessippy,

I can't help with the slide, but wanted to welcome you to Chordie. I'm sure someone here can and will help you, as we have all levels of musicians here, and were a friendly bunch, so just hang on, someone will be along shortly to help you, though it is a little slower on the weekends, so keep checking back. Glad your onboard!
