Yes it was - Vet I met a few years back. Haven't seen him since then !:(
Peatle,
Thanks for your email comments and suggestions - good to hear your voice !
I made some of the changes you suggested - thanks !! ( you can see I edited the above.)
I guess you are entering the throws of winter while we are baking in the sun here in upstate NY.
Stay healthy and keep in touch. Thanks again
Cheers !!
Jim
I know it's a bit long - but it plays easy it's around 4 minutes when I play it through.
any of you blues players out there have any comment or suggestions ?
I really don't want to shorten it bc it was based on a true story told tome a few years ago by a Viet Nam Veteran
Well I deleted the other version and changed it to a 12 bar blues style song Made a bunch of lyric changes as well- I'm pretty happy with it now.
way to go Graham - keeping young !!
Thanks for sharing and being an inspiration!
Jim
My favorite Jazz performance is this one by Cab Calloway.
Although I like other Jazz songs better ( especially a bunch by Louis Armstrong and John Coltrane)
this remains my favorite to watch

Really good - reminds me of Joan Baez
Thanks Jan
Such a tragedy... wasted lives because dumb Bull****

Thought I'd give a try at a song regarding the tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet ( although I discovered Shakespeare based it of an Italian poem Romeus and Juliet by Arthur Brooke to my surprise )- still a heart wrenching classic. I remember my HS English teacher taking us to the movie in 1968 after we had read the play. I fell in Love with Olivia Hussey that Day ! Great movie!!!!
Anyway - here it is probably needs a lot of tweaking
Pete
Sorry about that - it's correct now!
Thanks for the info
Cheers
Jim
same group different song
I came across this by accident - while viewing the tiny boat song Pete posted
The Band was from Missouri, but the gent that sings it has passed since,
I think it is flawless and beautiful.

Another Girl Another Planet
What a wonderful cover of that song.
Voice and guitar playing were superb !
I could tell you really loved playing it - your body language and ease gave it away.
I wish I could time travel and go back to when all you guys on here were young and out playing in pubs - be real cool to see and have a beer with all of you!. Thanks for a glimpse!
Cheers,
Jim

Fiction Love sounded real good. I agree w Jan though, voice was not heard that great - maybe that's because its ROCK !!
What was the guitar that you were playing - real interesting and unique shape.
Keyboard player was excellent. Drummer was not visible too much, but hit the skins just fine!
Congrats on a very cool performance!
Jim
I wanted to comment on Richards performance - thought it was his best one I have heard- really enjoyed here comes the rain !
Richard
your voicing on this song is awesome - fits you perfectly !
I hope others give it a listen
Jim
OK
since no one commented I figured it must suck and need work so I changed chords - rewrote a lot of the lyrics.
Ii think it's where I want it to be now.
