Thanks for the feedback, Dino. I normally don't normally have issues either Dino, but when I have issues cleaning up my system never fails to fix the problem. I guess what I was trying to say was that the problems are more than likely in people's computer and not with chordie.

Most of these chordie problems are fixed by clearing cache, cookies, etc...I've been using CCleaner which is a free computer clean up product. They have a higher end one that you have to pay for but I'm too cheap to buy something that's working fine for free. Seems to do a good job and also cleans up registry errors. Whenever I see errors like my songbook not loading, being unable to get into chordie, or others problems like this scrolling issue I run the CCleaner app and everything seems to work okay afterwards. I have an older (mid 2000s) computer which is why I get these errors, but I bet the newer computers aren't experiencing these type of problems. It would be nice to hear from someone who is accessing chordie from a new system and hear how chordie is working for them.

Hey Brian - I enjoyed it. Pretty good song and you performed it well. My only feedback is to keep it going and keep pushing yourself to get better.

Hey Phill - Nice little song there. I like the real life fairy tale feel of it.

Enjoyed it Lane. Sounds great and plays well too. The lyrics are good the way you have them, but let me know if you want help putting it in chordpro format.

This is what my instructor and came up with. I think JJW does it starting with an A chord, but capoing in the 2nd and using these chords are easier for my hands.

Hey Foghorn1969 - You're not allowed to post lyrics on chordie unless they are your own and that usually goes in the songwriting forum. I edited your original posting to remove the lyrics, but if you like you can post just the chord progression for the song. Next time you might want to read the sticky post "PLEASE READ THIS FIRST" which explains the rules of this forum.

This one's a keeper Phill....kind of reminded we of The Ballad of John and Yoko. How does the riff go? Adding this to my Phill W. covers.

Hey Lane - You mean to play or listen too? I feel the chords flow pretty well with the lyrics I think if that's what you mean. It's tough to pick up without hearing it which is why I put up the scratch recording. Anyway, thanks for your comments.

Thanks very much Lane.

Hey Jeff - I am up for it. Fed 22 is a ways off, but if I can I will be there if work can accommodate.

Here Comes Another Day By Jeff Gilpin

September 28th, 2013

[G]Situations come along

Only way to get [Em]through them is to remember right from wrong

And even [C]though you know the difference it [D]doesn’t seem to matter in the [G]end

Because right from [G]wrong sometimes don’t seem to matter

And in some situ[Em]ations just get you get sadder and sadder

Until you [C]feel you’re almost broken or you’ve [D]bent about as far as you can [G]bend [G7]

It’s like when you [Am]say you can’t go on but still [D]do

It’s like when you [Bm]say you want to quit yet you see it [E7]through

It’s like at the [C]darkest time of night so [F]dark you’ve lost all sight

But given enough [G]time even [F]though you feel you’re [E7]done

[C] Up in the morning sky [D] rises the [Em]sun

Some[G]times you have to wait

Though you’ve tried with all your [Em]might it seems you never catch a break

You [C]think it’s not worth trying any [D]more but you still try a little [G]more

Some [G]roads go on a good ways

Like a journey that never [Em]ends, heading right on through the haze

Where there [C]may just be disaster, or that [D]prize you’ve been waited [G]for [G7]

When you’re [G]not sure what to do

Even though it feels like you’re just [Em]struggling and can’t make it through

Your [C]prize might be the journey and the [D]people who are always by your [G]side [D]

Don’t [G]let it get you too far down

No matter how often [Em]difficult times come to town

No matter how [C]many times before [D]you’ve had to make that hard [G]ride [G7]

It’s like when you [Am]say you can’t go on but still [D]do

It’s like when you [Bm]say you want to quit yet you see it [E7]through

It’s like at the [C]darkest time of night so [F]dark you’ve lost all sight

But given enough [G]time even [F]though you feel you’re [E7]done

[C] Up in the morning sky [D] rises the [Em]sun

[C] Here comes another day [D] good morning [G]sun

Thanks very much. I kind of like this one too. Takes me back to my childhood days when my dad, who was raised in Texas, would always sing cowboy songs. I'm glad you got to try it out as well and yes, by all means adjust the words as you feel they fit.

Glad you like it and can relate. I should have mentioned that I use a capo on the 5th fret in the recording to better fit my vocal range. Feel free to adjust for your own.
