Hey Upyerkilt,
I also got 11 right, didn't answer a few, a couple I guessed and got wrong, but I did get 11 right!
Cam
Hi Washed-by-Him,
Yes, thanks it did help, I've been studing the power chords since getting my electric, and all advice is helpful, thank you.
Ozymandias,
I can in no way imagine 105" of snow, or what thats like, living in the South, it's just unimaginable, I'm sure it's beautiful however, though I've never been to Maine, so again, I guess it's just what you get use to growing up.
Cam
Gotta Love Buffett, I've been lucky enough to get to the Caribbean a few times, it's Heaven on earth, especially right now!
Cam
Topdown, I'm sorry you didn't have the day off, I enjoyed it enough for us both though...GuitarPix, I wondered about you as well, but being close to Wilmington {as I remember} I wasn't sure you were getting any. Upyerkilt, yea even Alabamba got snow, odd for them. I'm a warm weather kinda guy, I can't imagine living in Canada, Scotland, or Maine as some of you do, but then I guess it's what you get use to growing up. Living here in North Carolina we get a taste of all 4 seasons, but I'm so rerady for spring, everyone stay bundled up, it'll be here soon!
Cam
Well, we have snow here this morning, about 4" here where I am in North Carolina, they've called off work so I'll stay home and pratice my guitar. The last few years we haven't had much snow here especially in the month of March. Topdown how much did you get? I guess it's pretty, but I'm so ready for Spring so I can get outside, build a fire at night, have a couple of drinks play my guitar and enjoy the warm weather.
Cam
Thanks Upyerkilt,
I'll keep playing them for now, you just kinda get use to a certain sound, or timbre and then something else sounds odd, but I'll give them a fair chance, as I said I'm not the best judge so I rely on people like you and others and trust your better judgement, even though I know I should always listen for what sound I like in the long run. I've tried the Martin's the D'addario and now the Elixer's, maybe next I'll try the silk and steel I think Russell mentioned, sooner or later, I'll find my sound.
Cam
Well today I had a set of the Elixir polyweb strings put on my acoustic, while I'm not much of a judge of strings yet, they sound pretty wirey, {if thats a word} but then I was use to the sound of the D'addario, so I'll keep playing them and see if I start to like them better, guess I was just use to a certain sound, maybe they will grow on me.
Cam
Thanks Wilbaye,
That weas a lot of help. looking forward to other patters for other songs, thanks again!

Hi SouthPaw,
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your video, I love that song and you really played and sung so well, looked as if you were enjoying it, thats what I look for in people who play, someone who still really enjoys what they're doing, as opposed to someone who looks at it as a job, when you enjoy what your doing and others will enjoy it even more, again, a great job!
Cam
I've also had this problem a couple of times but I go back later and it works, go figure!
Cam
Hey Jerome,
My blues name is Curly Dog Parker
Hey MRJay,
What a great video, I'm so glad I listened to it, thanks for sharing it!

Hi Lespaulguy,
Thanks for the help, but to be honest, I've already looked over that site, and I'm just not finding much except for the heavy metal stuff, maybe I'm just overlooking something or haven't learned to navigate it properly yet, but again, I appreciate the help.
Bswyers,
I checked out that site you mentioned but again I can't find the settings, I found the tabs, but as I mentioned to Lespaulguy, maybe I just need to learn to navigate that site, but I really appreciate all the help, and I'll keep toying with my amp.
Cam
Thanks Guys,
I knew someone here could lead me in the right direction, I really appreciate the help and I'll check out both websites.

Hi Everyone,
Ok I've bought a Line 6 Spider 3 amp {15 watt} but I'm wondering about tone settings for songs. Does anyone have any idea where I can get the settings for songs, I'm new to electric guitar so I'm kinda lost here. I know it says in the instrustions that you can go to their website to get the tone settings but I can't find it, and if I did I'm guessing it's mostly metal songs, I'm more into classic rock, blues and country, Stones, Zepplin, Allman Bro's, Lynard Skynyrd SRV, any Southern rock. I'm wondering also if in some section or even a new section, people could post tone settings for specific songs, that would be a great help to people just picking up the electric, as well as others who are more advanced, what does anyone else thing? Thanks guys for any help.
Cam
Hi Everybody,
I was hoping someone could direct me to a good site that teaches power chords, diagrams, possibly a site that shows all power chords, I appreciate any help, thanks guys!
Cam
Thanks Kap and GuitarPix,
I checked out the link of this guy, great song, I loved it, I'll have to listen to more of his stuff, again thanks for the link guys.
Cam

Hi Again Russell,
I read somewhere that he was born in Oakland Cali. He tried Nashville but for whatever reason didn't make it there, he now lives in Norway, If I'm not mistaken. Here's the link.
Thanks Deadstring,
Ah, but I do still have my hair and a sense of humor!
Cam
Hi Russell,
Did you happen to listen to his song about chiggers, in the black cab sessions, he uses that same slide and picking method, it's great.
