thanks Neo. i wrote it as a song, it took 3 sittings on different days which is why it gets a bit acerbic towards the end

Ha! That's funny, because as I read it - I was singing it in my head smile

Most of them I play from memory and some that people request if I do not already know it than Ican bring up on my ipad but it is rare that I have to use it or sheet music. When I do a concert I know all the ones I will play.

That's very impressive - my memory is shocking these days and I always rely on my iPad for the chord sequences, which is bad because then you don't memorize it and it's a bit of a vicious circle.

I have done concerts from over 10,000  to as few as 16

I always found the concert for fewer people were more nerve wracking than the bigger ones, as it was a more intimate relationship with the listeners - although I've never played to 10,000 - I think maybe 2,000 or 3,000 was my biggest audience at a local music festival.

I practice for 3 hours most days so knowing them is from that.

I'm lucky if I get three hours a week!! I get jealous every time you mention that smile

Thanks for sharing some info about your life - it's fascinating to hear someone who has done so much ...

I'll have to play this for my little one - when he was very young I used to sing this to him; albeit with some modified words ... I wonder if he'll remember??

Just curious - do you memorize all these songs, CG, or do you play them all from sheet music?

Cheers Neo Playing music for me at the moment is a bit of a trail due to my health and also other factors. Despite the music thing I am living a good life and are happy just incase it sounds like my world is terrible.

Well, happy to hear you are living the good life smile Hope everything that needs to get healed, gets healed ....

Well, I managed to grab a few 5 minutes yesterday, and you play awesomely!! Moonlight Sonata has been a favourite of mine since I was young, but I've got to say the stand out track for me was Malaguena - I've probably heard it before, but didn't know the name of it ...

I'm not sure why you'd think people would be reluctant to hear classical music - I love it when played on guitar; it has a certain quality that can't be captured on other instruments, it may not be everyones cup of tea, but I would hope that (as a collective bunch of guitarists) we'd be able to appreciate well played piees on th instrument of our choice. I love rock, but don't really like heave metal, but I can appreciate a good tune in that genre too ...

Anyway, hope you post some more for us mere mortals to ogle smile

This sounds great. I think Beamer has rubbed off on me because I was expecting to hear Enter Sandman, which is a different song entirely.

It did get me wondering if anyone has attempted an Enter Sandman cover on uke, which I shall now research.

Again, sounded wonderful!

Have a look for the CCleaner keyword in the forums - I remember Classical Guitar wrote a lengthy description on how to fix this issue - or you may want to touch base with him to ask him (sorry, I use Mac's, so I'd be slow to guide you through a Windows process) ....
