My opinion on this song, is leave it exactly as it is!
I think this is maybe the best song i`ve heard you do!!
It hits all he bases for me.Words meaning something/guitar playing/vocal. the full monty!!!
My guess would be this song came very quickly to you.
It has that feeling of being real & freshness that comes from a quick song.
I never spent more than a few minutes on a song because of the above.
A couple of times i`` wrote`` a song it  just didn`t have that honest freshness that you`ve achieved.
Ok now i`ve said all that, tell me i don`t know what i`m talking about & it took you days to pour over this song?

If ya stuck for lyrics, ask Peatle he`s the most generous & supportive musician around.
I think he would love to add something to a metal song.

I think all the artists u mention wouldn`t  get any airtime nowadays.
So i guess no, they wouldn`t be big?

Gidday all
Great stories guys,it must take a lot of confidence to get up there & play in front of people.
I`m so bad i only play @ home, but my wife doesn`t like my playing.
Having said that there is one song i think she wants me to play a lot.
It`s called `Stop` & another one she`s keen on is called `Shut Up`
I`m don`t know these songs,so if u can help, much appreciated.

Gidday Bill
Yeah i totally agree with what you say.I`m one of those u mention.
I never sang a note till last couple of years, just needed to put a voice to my songs.
https://soundcloud.com/rough-as-gut/problems-overseas
Still lots of bum notes, but i`m finding my way slowly.
I did cut loose on this(a little bit)
Thanks for your comments,i`m gonna try cutting loose more in future.
Good to see a critique, rather than the usual pc stuff.

Panama Papers
The king sent his subjects to fight
To keep the status quo
A war they didn`t what to be part of
A war of which they didn`t want to know
Peasants of one country
Fighting peasants of another
The nobles & politicians lives carried on
With barely a blip
The peasants on the front line
known as cannon fodder
Their lives worth not a tick
Their reward.....at best
Crumbs from the table

I don`t know if you are aware of `Reverbnation.com`
If ya put songs on there, they offer many opportunities to submit for
performing live/record labels/radio stations.etc
this may suit your quality music.

Under The Bridge

When i walked under the bridge today
As i was heading home
When looking up underneath
I just happened to see
Two words in red paint
unmistakable graffitti
It saddened me to read those words
Painted probably
By a younger hand
I wondered who took the time
Must have known pain and dispair
`Abandon Hope` it read
The message was all too clear!

Gidday Kim & welcome
would love to see your songs on our songwriting page.
Also a link to your recordings.
i play a bit of uke for fun & have written lots of songs for
my uke playing friends.
On` soundcloud.com`   check out `Mac NZ` &` kiki Jan` they are both uke players.

keep It real
hey not being able to sing & play hasn`t stopped me from going on soundcloud.
I`m useless @ tech stuff too,but soundcloud is pretty easy.
Give it a go.You won`t regret it.

Gidday Beamer
yeah i`m with you on this one.
I used to post a lot,but you get very little response
which hardly encourages me to post.No point in talking to myself,as
I want a conversation.
So while i visit daily & read u guys i comment less often.

That is fantastic.A true story makes great song/poems.
I find writing poems/songs a great way to cope with lifes problems
writing it down does seem to help.
Hope you writing this down has in some way helped you.
And yes thoughts are poems( as are opinions and feelings)
eg.a thought of mine   https://soundcloud.com/rough-as-gut/leader-or-follower
