Glad you liked it! Thanks for the link with the percussionist! That's going to help me out some! I've had the guitar and vocals recorded for awhile now and have been playing around with the percussions on my djembe and cajun. The video will help me get it perfected! -Pix

Hey Russ, I signed up today. Just finished the first game... It was fun! The first time I've ever played online chess! I put your name down as who referred me. Maybe that gives you kudo points or something... What's your ID on the site?  The people seem real friendly! I've already received invites to join others games.

I'm not a big Kenny Rogers fan but I got tickets givin to me for his show in Myrtle beach a couple of weeks ago. Me and the wife went and it was actually a good show! I've never seen so much grey hair at a concert before though smile

I love the stooges. I have a few dvds of their classics. They're probably my 2nd favorite, as far comedy skits. My favorite has to go to Rowan Atkinson as MR. Bean smile I doubt I watch the movie though. Like Rebel said, They are perfect the way they are and there's just no way ,IMO, that the movie could compete with the classics. We'll see...They may surprise me and really nail it.

[ quotbensonp ]I think you have to delete the part you don't want to quote.  Try that.  Quote me and delete one sentence.[ quot ]

OK that's what you get when you go to quote someone... (with minor changes i had to make inorder for it to post)

Anything in between the [ quote ]'s can be deleted. Just make sure you don't change anything [inside of these] wink and you should be good to go.-Pix

I love chess!! I used to play a lot in school and then when I ran a pool hall here in town ,some 15 years ago, I used to host a chess night every wendsday for us to all get together and play. It was always a lot of fun. I haven't played much in the past 10 years...Except the occasional game with the wife. I have been teaching my sons to play these last few months though! I'll be sure to check out the site!! Maybe we can get a game going sometime! Just take it easy on me...I'm rusty smile -Pix

I remembered reading a good thead on this, but had to search for it...  Give this a read http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/foru … e+rosewood  -Pix

LOL It was actually just a typo.... I wasn't thinking about where I was smile I won't tell if you won't...;)

The 334 is new and will probably loosen up some shortly... Most new guitars are kinda tight sounding for the first couple of months but settle in and mellow some fairly quickly. I could be wrong, but I believe the jasmine has a laminate top and your new guit is solid.... The laminate isn't going to have the same tone as a solid wood guitar. It's going to be much less responsive and that can give you the impression of a darker tone. It could just be that your ears are more used to the jasmine since it's what you've played more... I wouldn't give up on the new tak too quick! I've done the same thing and really wish I had one or two of the ones that I've parted with back now that I know more about acoustic tones. Only you know what you want though and I'm sure you'll make the right decision for you! All the best! -Pix

Hey Twang, I haven't used them myself but have heard really good thinks about the shadow sonic double plays. They seem to be an outstanding pickup system! They are also fairly easy to install and they're removable, so if you want to install it later on another acoustic you could do so. You'd only have to replace the end pin on the tak with a larger one to fill the jack hole left behind. If you go through all that trouble and expence to get the natural acoustic tone, make sure you have a good Acoustic amp so you can really hear the benefits! -Pix

LOL Yea I listen to and cover some pretty odd stuff wink   Most of it's off the beaten path... That's what I like though. I like going to a party and starting to play and everyone coming over wanting to know "What band is that?"

I see you're playing "Melissa" on the 12... How she treating you??
