Doc
Your post touches on something quite delicate.
The songwriting section I sometimes think is a place where people fear to give negative comments  especially if they place songs on here themselves.
On the whole I think if we went down the negative comment root then it would curtail people posting songs on here.
Generally I think this forum should be one of encouragement and who is really qualified here to give some ones song real critical
Comments.
Advice perhaps is something else given a helpful manner it  can be constructive and welcome.

I guess prog. rock counts.
Pictures at an exhibition- ELP
Journey to the centre of the earth-Rick Wakeman

Universal Soldier- Buffy Sainte-Marie.
A song I use to play it alot at one time but I guess I'm a bit rusty at it now.

Hi Chris Ibbotson
Is this what you are after  http://www.911tabs.com/link/?1910040
It's tabbed a little confusingly but I think it can be worked out.

Robinhood prince of thieves must rank quite high for
Bryan Adams' ballad "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You" (included on his Waking Up the Neighbours album and the motion picture's soundtrack) which broke pop chart records in the United Kingdom, where it remained Number 1 for a record 16 weeks. It was also a number 1 hit in Canada and the United States.
The actual sondtrack by the late Michael Kamen is not bad either.

Hi Musician4jesus,
I think the what want is located here....
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/c/c … ri_crd.htm
The chords maybe abit hard for a newbie but will give you a goal to aim for.
She has quite a few songs listed there.
Good luck and welcome to Chordie

Russell
I think the best way to delete the slide show from your Myspace page is to manually delete the code from the edit section on the home page. Once the code is gone then it won't be embeded in the page and it should not be there.

Hi Russell censorship changes through the years and reacts to the times. The McCarthy era has now been discredited as a witch hunt and rightly so but at the time destoryed alot fine peoples careers.
What I did find surprising was this list of songs deemed inappropriate to play on radios after the 9/11 attacks.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_so … 01_attacks
I wonder how long they were deemed to be unsuitable to air.

Roger
I couldn't agree more with what you have just written.
Keeping Chordie free from intrusive graphic images of all types has my full support.
My original post was an aberration on my part.
All the admin do a good job and I haven't seen any unsavoury links at all for quite a while.
So well done.
Regards

I wasn't thinking straight last night.
It's all embeded images that have stopped ones that appear in the posts not the linked images to other sites.

What am I like hmm  Sorry.

Hi topdown
Thanks for answering so quickly
I thought as I got this answer to my previous post on the subject from James I believed all images were to be stopped.

Hi arkady,
In the ongoing battle against spam, image files have been disabled in the forum.  This will help keep explicit porno junk off the site.

Nobody logs in to chordie looking for anatomy lessons, but there are certain spammers who insist that everyone be constantly reminded about basic physiological facts.  Now, they won't be able to post photos.

Your archery image was really cool (I do target archery and shoot a recurve bow) but since it the same sort of file type as the rude stuff, it is not allowed anymore [sorry!].  James

I just want to get it straight. Is the ban only applied to moving images then.
and  static images linking is ok in any part of the post?

Can any of the admins tell me if the outside image linking is back on again as I've just accessed an image from imageshack in a post.
Thanking you in advance.
Ark

Russell see you got your slide show up on Myspace ok.

A alot of thought went in for this one and  I've narrowed it down to just two of oh so many.
What still does it for me is "Crossroads" by Cream Eric Clapton guitar solo well enough said.
and revelation at the time was Led Zep "Whole lotta love" it still sends tingles down my spine with memories.
