I wanted to know if there are "great" performers or bands.

I can't help it, it is a really melancholic chord sequence, and even using the same chords in my refrain you have to sing it different, louder, higher in tone and passion.
I just try to be me, and an exercise to improve my English. I have the impression that there is an improvement, so please if you see an incorrect phrase, let me know. I'm nothing but a "gringo"

Doll, I need to "focus" on lighter lyrics.
I am very busy with that BOSS BR600, at this moment, I tried an electric guitar, you push some knobs and the song, using 3 times and 3 tracks, gave a kind of harmony, even if you play E in stead of A, fantastic, I would love to see and hear this on myspace. But adding drums=complicated, so if I use the chords I recorded, it's kind of Clapton like, music, rock, bending strings. I can't figure out all the possibilities. IMPATIENT as I am, I hate the documents (200 pages) it should work without reading. The result = 3 guitars is nice but not at all corresponding with my skills on guitar. Maybe, because it's on a CF card, I can put it in my PC, compressing to mp3?

I have too many posts, but I do think I wrote this to a person too.
So EARLIER I wrote is = If there can be a convention, if we can solve all different problems, how, where, what, when we will have one. The only point is HOW MUCH.

THE BIG QUESTION IS: ARE WE ABLE TO FIND SPONSORS? Like Ed Roman, or a local Music Store? If not in Juin: September -October, as long as this "happening" doesn't take place in July & August = DOUBLE prices. Some chordians can pay this easy, others will have difficulties. If you take September, everyone who likes this can put 15$ a month away.
When I compare the USA amendments, with reality, like freedom of speech, and you write a song, still the best way to communicate, you record will be banned. See also the 8th amendment.

My topic is more "basic", trying to make a song, using one phrase, with chords, followed by another.
I forgot 1 important thing:
- This kind of puzzle needs to match to avoid a "cacophonie". The more lines, the more difficult it gets, you need at least your guitar = YOU HAVE TO DO THINK, AND TRY HARD = ACTIVE.
Lazy as we can be, this topic is great, but...it takes more time.

IS YOUR BLUES KNOWLEDGE GONE?
Yep, that's right, you DO see a lot of so called doc's in music world. Often those guys do have a degree, but they start to prescribe bad stuff. A CLIENT IS A CLIENT= you want MORPHINE, no problem, you pay 100$, and once you start doing this, you start a chain reaction, finally leading to suspension and loosing your license. I used to happen a lot of good friends, bands, singers, guitar players, actor's, and record companies. Until today I still don't know if my choice was good, but in fact I could combine this for 6-7 years, married, a kid, and this is again a KEY moment, old friends replaced by new. THINK ABOUT THIS: Kindergarten, School, Copllege, University, Marriage, kids, and almost every seven years, friends come and go.

Basicly very similar to Fmaj, like in the chord diagram, a regular F is played as shown in the first diagram, the F i play, if not in barre is as shown using x = no finger and o= finger.
If you add an extra finger on the A-string 3th fret, the sound is very rich and deep.
I play the F-chord like this = start Am, and move the fingertip on the D-string regular tuning
E A D G B E, to the 3th fret see xxx/ooo, and adding another finger now on A-string 3th fret, it is similar to the E-chord, one fret lower, but with the difference that a finger remains on the B-string first fret.

I have some "money makers" like a Fender Stratocaster 1964, a couple of PRS EG guitars, manufactured from 1990-1992, a Fender Telecaster, custom made, reissue 1952, only a limited quantity ONLY for Europe.
And a bunch acoustics, doubled in price in 2 years
I understand 100% the production of left handed "electric" guitars.
But an acoustic?
Isn't it so that you just have to put your strings different, like the big E-string, switching with the little E-string?
You still have the pick guard problem, and also the fact that some great guitar brands just focus on right handed people.
Is it possible to put a second pick guard on the other side?
PIX: I have bought at least 5 electric guitars, and looking on ebay now, the price range is between 50 and 300$ (more 300$ than 50$).
I bought a lot of guitars in 2006, and I never paid more than 150$. I have the impression that the actual prices are a victim of the € versus $ problem.
I saw quit a few cases: people suffering from Carpal Tunnel.
It is starts holding your wrist in a certain position.
Typical causes are, riding with a bike, everyday, riding 50 miles.
Another cause is THE COMPUTER. People can suffer a lot, just look at the position of your hand, putting your wrist on the table, and your fingers on the keyboard.
Reading your "symptoms", the way you describe the pain, it can be an other pathology as well.
These symptoms, tingling and numbness the discomfort radiates up to my shoulder, can also come from the neck or shoulder. THESE TWO have to be excluded, easy these days by X-RAY and ECHOGRAPHY. A lot of these symptoms are very common if you have "arthrosis" in your neck, or YOUNGER people, because of a muscular contraction (between every the vertebra, you have little muscles, and if they are subject of, again, repetitive movements or position, the contraction can "push" on your nerves, giving a tingling, and a real discomfort, with radiation to the wrist and hand. Some people suffering from "inflammation" in the ROTATOR CUFF = all muscles used to move your shoulder, caused by repetitive movements leading to almost invisible little tendon lesions. Finally carpal tunnel= one of the major nerves to use your hand, passes through a kind of bridge, in the wrist, and if that tunnel get's smaller, caused by a few problems, there is a "nerve entrapment". As told, this pain can be worse at night, it feels like your hand is "sleeping", and can go up to your elbow and shoulder/neck. SO, YOU NEED IN FACT TO EXCLUDE THE FIRST 2 POSSIBILITIES. One major device to prove it, is an electromyographic investigation, putting very fine needles in your arm, they can see if there is a problem. (compare it with electricity) . The cause=often a combination of factors. Congenital: the carpal tunnel is simply smaller in some people than in others, and important: work stress; repeated use of vibrating hand tools.
In fact there is little clinical data to prove whether repetitive and forceful movements of the hand and wrist during work or leisure activities can cause carpal tunnel syndrome.
DIAGNOSIS (to be 100% sure) electrodiagnostic tests as told, Ultrasound imaging can show impaired movement of the median nerve.
TREATMENT: resting the affected hand and wrist for at least 2 weeks, avoiding activities who worsen the problem. Like playing guitar: if playing guitar and you start feeling pain STOP!!
ibuprofen, feldene.., and more "aggressive= corticosteroids, in combination with lidocaine (anesthetic) can be injected directly into the wrist. Exercises like stretching and strengthening exercises can be helpful and even better under supervision by a physical therapist.If every "non aggressive" treatment fails = surgery: Carpal tunnel release is one of the most common surgical procedures and recommended if symptoms last for 6 months.
IT IS A LONG ANSWER, BUT I AM A MEDICAL DOC, so I REALLY HOPE THAT THIS ADVISE WILL HELP YOU. I worked long to give you a decent answer, and it is amazing how this appears again, since I had to stop working, almost 4 years ago.
I feel fine, because I am able to play my guitar pretty good.
Yesterday, I finally started to use my BOSS BR600, and yes, using earphones, I heard my guitar, recording 1 minute.
Now I can finally start, to "create" a song. It will take some time, to figure out how to use the other functions, like RHYTHM section = bass, drum.
I agree with Roger (big bro) and you Dolly. That's the reason why I write this.
In fact, I just found a few picks, in my wallet, behind an amp, or in the acoustic "cavity".
Most of these picks are Dunlops.
I don't like at all, thick "plectrums".
I have used (and lost) many plectrums, and 1 plectrum is always returning: dunlop .73 = solid, not rigid, and it is used by me on my acoustic collection, and my electric collection. I use it to play ballads, Blues, Rock, Hardrock. This plectrum will never let you down.
I did use some hard plectrums, resulting in a broken string. About strings, and changing them, I am always afraid that the string will break and hit my face. This happened some years ago.
Maybe, it depends on what you are looking for.
- do you play guitar?
- How long?
- What item do you want, like "learning" guitar, or songs.
