Here's an idea every time you come to a B you whip the old capo out and put it on the 2nd fret and play an A It'll slow the tune down, which is a drawback!!! LOL

Now that you've had it a few days and it's now an old guitar, can I be borrowing it? Just asking, LOL Congrats!!!

If you go to www.ultimateguitar.com and go to Joni Mitchell there is a list of open tunings she uses. Keith Richards plays a 5 string guitar tuned GDGBG same as a banjo on a lot of tunes

A Little Help

F                       Edim
Maybe just a little help
Dm                  C
Will ease the way
F                                   Edim
Next time try a little stealth
Dm                           C
Get you there some day

Bb                  Am     G
Let’s drink to your health
Bb                      Am    G
And talk about your wealth
F                          Edim
Money’s come, money’s spent
Dm                                      C
Money saved and money lent

Funny how the strangest things
Happen some days
Living on a shoestring
Got along that way

Now I’m over a cliff
Hanging by a thread
Out of my mind, out of my mind
Out of my head

Baby give me another chance
One more stay
Said I was only human once
Am I still human today?

We’ll talk about your dreams
Then we’ll talk reality
Maybe someday, maybe one day
They’ll be the same
Maybe someday, maybe one day
They’ll be the same

Took A Walk       3/4

E
We took a walk
G#m
You wanted to talk
C#m
You always
B
Have something to say

I long to hold you
Though some nights I scold you
And I put you right out of my
Dreams

A
It’s never easy
B
It’s always hard
A
When life ain’t so pleasing
B                              E        G#m   C#m B
You drive off, in your, car

From a green world of summer
To brown fields of fall
For your love I hunger
Haven’t eaten at all

From my hearts’ deepest winter
To loves first light
I’d give you a lift
Back into my life

It’s never easy
It’s always hard
When life ain’t so pleasing
I drive off in my car

It’s never easy
It’s always hard
When life ain’t so pleasing
We drive off in our car

Lost Among The Years          4/4

           D
    Here I sit all alone
           D/C
I wait for you by the phone
           D/Bb
    And think of the time
           Bb
    We first met

You know where to find me
    Always where to find me
    I haven’t moved
    In years

                Bb                            Gm        F
I’m waiting for the lock to click
    Bb                                 Gm        F
As I listen to the second hand’s click
                Bb                      A
        Long past midnight

No I didn’t sleep last night
    I laid awake all night
    With one ear on
    The door

    I keep the fires burning
    The home fires burning
    And I keep your room
    Lit bright

Waiting for the moon to rise
Watch it climb across the sky
As time falls through the hours

I think of lines to say
    Always rhymes to say
    What can mere words
    Convey

    How do I love you
Count the ways to love you
    In one word
    You’re life

Now I’m watching a rising tide
As the sun begins to shine
        To wash away last night

    We deal in opportunities
    Dream of opportunities
    Lost among the years

    Give me the front seat
    I demand the best seat
    The best seat
    In your life

        I watch your anger rise
        Till anger drives you blind
And you run into the night
