Jim, tried to comment on Sound Cloud and its not letting me but I will try again to comment on there .... I think Sound Cloud is just having a hissy fit smile  Anyway, the song has come out great, once again, you have written a fab song.  I hope one of our talented male chordian`s will attempt this song for you as it is written from a male perspective.  Well done to you smile

boyandclub .... though I didn't understand the language, the music and the vocals were great as was the video clip to go with it.  I wonder if it is possible for you to put up the lyrics in English on your YouTube video  as many people viewing speak English and that would help with understanding the song smile

Your solo on guitar was excellent as well smile

Fantastic! He sung your song brilliantly but it was your song and lyrics .... what a joy and delight for you Jim, how rewarding, you are a talented song writer smile

So anyone going to have a go at these songs?  I have been away again this last week, so hopefully NO more trips away this month for me, so I can try to record these.

(edited by Jandle - made a mistake in my message).

Ok,  so no one has made suggestions yet and since this time the songs will be picked from the most votes,  I am going to start the ball rolling with these suggestions.

There are just so many choices out there but I will start with these two male artists simply because they have been or are coming to NZ this year.  I went to see Bruce Springsteen earlier this year and I am hoping to get to Cat Stevens as well.  I love lots of their songs but just went with these two.  Hmm the females artists ... there are heaps of choices I like out there but I tried to pick females artists and songs that you guys can cover too.

MALE:  Cat Stevens ... Father and Son
MALE:  Bruce Springsteen ...  My Home Town

FEMALE:  Bonnie Rait  ..... Something to Talk About
FEMALE:  Amy Winehouse ..... Rehab

Well done Peatle, blues suit you (but then I have told you that before) smile

I really enjoyed both versions of your song Mojo ..... both had my attention, both were great listening.  I think the studio one was more professional on the recording side and I think you played it without the capo on the 3rd fret? where as the original you played it with the capo on?  I think the original was still good though as you have a natural talent anyway.  Hard to choose between the two songs which i preferred as they were both good.  I guess if it boiled down to it, the recorded version would be better listening on the radio for the sound quality but as I said tough choice as i like both versions.

This time, for JUNE`S SUGGESTED SONGS of the Month, we are looking for TWO SONGS.
Firstly:  a MALE Artist/Vocalist/Musician/Singer Song Writer/Band, of Your Choice.
Secondly:  a Female Artist/Vocalist/Musician/Singer Song Writer/Band, of Your Choice.
They can be your favorite artist, someone you want to cover or would like someone else to try to cover, it could be a song that you would never normally try to perform but think it`s time to try something new.  The options available to choose from are almost limitless, go on start suggesting!  You can suggest as many Songs as You Want!
NOTE:  As it seems to be mostly males participating, just a suggestion, it may be advisable to pick a song from a female artist that you (guys) can perform, so that you get to cover both songs.
ALL Suggestions YOU get to VOTE ON!  SO, this time, suggest HEAPS of SONGS and VOTE LOTS … it doesn’t matter how many times you enter Suggestions or how many times your Vote …….. at the end of the day …… it`s all just FUN!

Hmmm interesting questions  easybeat.  Guess for me, if I just don`t like their music (sound or lyrics) I won`t bother listening a second time.  Sometimes I just don`t like what they stand for or show themselves to stand for e.g. Marilyn Manson is an example of this, so I wouldn't bother getting his music.    Using your example easybeat of Gary Glitter, no I wouldn't  get any of his music because of his history (not that I liked him or his music much anyway).
