The way I wrote it, I purposely left it so that any guy could plug in their own ( two syllable)  city  and their own lady's eye color 

for you, possibly.....

I don't even know why I choose Nashville - I've never even been there - but it is on my bucket list for next summer.  smile

TIGLJK I really like this song and many of the lines show some deep thought.  "to[C] find a girl that fits  me like a poet's [G] rhymes " is a great line.

hey Jimbob, you've hit the jackpot again! and the hits (it should be a hit) keep coming. i played through it and it flows nicely. had trouble with the Bm but i think i worked that one out. you really have a knack with words.

I changed the B chord to a Cadd9 chord - gives it a smoother and even harmonic sound.

It's also a lot easier for me to play   smile

The song is The Weight by the band one that I have in my songbook  smile
I just tried it - the verses would fit that that chord progression - but not the chorus, at least I couldn't figure it out that way.
