Today I'm feeling queezy
Snotty and quite sneezy
I think the winter weather might have passed
even though its brighter
me lungs are feeling tighter
Hayfever has just bit me on the ass
Happy Easter to all you Easter chicks and bunnies out there ,

We did woofstock 1 last year and raised 1700 euros in one night but that was in holiday season .Still every little helps .The Kids event was reasonably well supported tonight and they played well.

Last night GB Blues Band played at the Woofstock Vol 2 event in Sitia Crete .Woofstock a 2 day charity event in aid of the Sitia animal welfare organisation .
Three bands played last night
Spiros Romeliatis ,Sinchordia ,and GB
The audience, although somewhat smaller than expected had a great time . Tonight three of the youth bands of Sitia will take the stage .
The event was organised by Vasilis Krithakis, one of Sitias young musicians who is still at school and a shining example of Greek youth .Well done Vassilis from all who took part .

I would like to hear how you play it I tried it this morning and it became a reggae song after two attempts . I played it on capo 5 and added a D at the end of the first line and a repetitive C-D change at end of the chorus .Its a very good song I like it a lot .

Well at this moment I m just getting ready to go to the airport so after Ive had my meeting with the proposed venue we will have some details to share .The venue Lassion golden bay is a great place where we often play during the summer ,the pool area we use for concerts is a natural amphitheatre with great acoustics .
The complex is great and has its own tavern which hosts traditional greek music.
In Sitia we have 2 very good guitar teachers plus a number of multi instrumentalists who can be drafted in to give workshops ,lessons etc .So I think we can offer a really special experience to any one who takes part .

Last night I went to a traditional folk club at the Moorcock inn Blacko in Pendle .Interesting night I had not played un amplified publically for a very long time . The club operate a music in the round format where every one sits around the room and songs are played in turn ,the members are of mixed ability but very supportive of each other and give encouragement to any one who wants to sing or play. It was great to join in last night and I will certainly visit again when back in the uk . I would recommend anyone visiting the area to make the trip to the Moorcock on a Tuesday night where Jamey and the rest of the club will give a warm welcome .
