Hi Rod,

F.Y.I. I use Vista and I.E.9 on a laptop, and Win7 and I.E.9 on a PC, and have no problem.

I am afraid that Per has no other ideas as to why the transpose is not working for you (clearing the cookies is normally the fix). It should work, and is working for everyone else, so if you do happen to find out what is causing your problem please let us know as it could help someone else in the future.

Sorry I cannot be more helpful,

Roger

OK Rod, I do not know the answer (although Dino may be on the right track). I will write to Per (the site owner) who may be able to offer some assistance and I will post any reply from him here in this thread.

The print icon is still there but I guess you just cannot see it. Reduce you screen resolution by pressing the 'Ctrl' and the '-' and I think you will find it again,

After reading the initial post I looked for the song but I could not see it. I only got this message: Sorry. Someone has asked for this song to be removed from Chordie. The removal request was received 2009-06-19 14:15:00. If you think this removal request is invalid, please contact support@chordie.com.

So according to this the song had been unavailable for three and a half years but if it is visible to you can you please post the URL where you saw it. Thank you.

What exactly is happening? I have checked with my songbook and I find that I can transpose and the transposition will remain fixed even after I have logged out and back again. I believe that this was one of the problems you were having. Are you able to transpose and then find that it is back to the original key when you return later? Or are you unable to transpose at all? What operating system and what browser are you using?

but you have not answered

I repeat, you have asked twice, both times I have answered any you have acknowledged both of my replies.

If the answers were not the ones you were looking for then re-ask the question but do not accuse me, or anyone else, of ignoring you. If you answer as though it is OK then you cannot expect any further action.

At the end of the day the problem has to be with your PC or your actions. It is not a Chordie problem otherwise no one would be able to transpose and there would be 100's of queries.

Try clearing all your cookies as they can sometimes cause peculiar problems.

rvewan.  In the 9 messages you have posted here you have twice asked about transposition, on both occasions I have replied and you have acknowledged my replies. So your comment that you cannot get an answer from a Moderator is completely untrue.

It is normal to ask again after your own query if the answer is not the one you are looking for and not to accuse us of not being diligent in our job.

Roger.

This topic has deteriorated into into name calling and that is NOT what Chordie is about. I have therefore removed it.

Amy, you have to realise that these ailments always hit us men harder than they do you ladies.

This is because germs and viruses know that men are far stronger than women and so they do not attack you as much as they do us.

Without a doubt 'The Lord  of the Rings' trilogy. Read the book and seen the films many times and never tire of doing either.

Star Wars comes a close second.

The first couple of series were great but the repetition bores me so I can't be bothered with then either.

You should have joined us at the Skype jam last night. It was fun.

The Guitar Gremlin did not like having a screw loose but being a contrary blighter he wanted to make you to exercise the grey matter to source his discomfort.

Glad you sorted it.

Hi Chris,

A song that appears:

Mary's Lamb by D.O.M.

[G]Mary had a [G]little lamb,

She [C]also [D]had a [G]bear,

I've [C]often [D]seen her [G]little [Em]lamb,

But [C]never [D]seen her [G]bare.

....without formatting would appear like this:

{t:Mary's Lamb}
{st: by D.O.M.}
[G]Mary had a [G]little lamb,
She [C]also [D]had a [G]bear,
I've [C]often [D]seen her [G]little [Em]lamb,
But [C]never [D]seen her [G]bare.

Is this really what you want? If so just press the chopro button next to the print button.

If you are wanting something different please write again.

You would have to write to the person first and get them to reply to you which would then give you their actual e-mail address which you can use to send attachments.
