Baldguitardude ...... I couldn`t comment on You Tube as I haven`t joined You Tube ...... but awesome cover, really enjoyed it, my foot was tapping and i was singing along with you smile

mojo01 ........  thoroughly enjoyed listening to your cover  smile

Thanks Tigljk smile .............. I forgot to add the link https://soundcloud.com/ukulelejan/angels-in-your-room

Hi Tigljk ...... i had a go at this song you wrote as i love the lyrics to this song.   I didn`t do it as much justice as Phill and Amy did but still i had a go at it and also i wanted to try practicing playing guitar to this one.  I made the mistake of whistling to it (big mistake) but of course hindsight is a great thing ..... i need to learn how to cut out the bits i don`t want in my recordings ..... or i will record it at some stage when i get better at guitar playing and without the whistle smile

Now that is a real campfire!!!

Keep those covers coming everyone ........... smile

Zurf ......... thoroughly enjoyed listening to your performance and i was laughing along side with you ...... bring on the tuba player! smile

Grah1 ................  liked your strum on this one, was it the guitarlele?

Talking about campfires .......... think Chordie should have its own campfire here as we sit around it and listen to each others covers .......

Grah1 ................. made it your own, nice cover smile

They also used actual instruments. If someone had an awful voice, there was no auto tune to make it tolerable. There was no MTV either. Also, no USB connections in the car either. We used to have AM radios that were static ridden and played music all the time.At night we could listen to far away stations like WLS in Chicago while cruising or hanging out with friends. Technology has taken over.

Those were the days my friend, we thought they would never end ........

dino 48 ........... I think the rabbit likes to hang out over in Suggested FSOM thread ......... must have its home there smile

Zurf ......... as i said on sound cloud, great picking and you covered this song very well.  I really enjoyed listening to you smile
On an aside to your comment on sound cloud ....... anyones name/post that goes onto the Suggested FSOM thread regardless of their comments e.g. "don`t pick me"," i wont enter this month", "to much responsibility for me", those names will STILL BE ENTERED and drawn out of the hat smile

Hi everyone,  thank you we are all safe down here in Wellington where Peatle, easybeat  and myself are.  It was a big one but centered much further up north on the east coast.  I personally didn`t feel a thing as it happened during the early hours.   I will be watching the news tonight though to see what and if any damage was done up that way.  Thanks for asking and caring for us down here smile

Tigljk .......... i have given up trying to do Six strings down, i was`nt nailing at all sad   Sorry about that sad

unclejoesband ............. enjoyed listening to you both, looks like you were both having a good time and loved the picking your friend was doing along side you.

easybeat ....... very original, very different.

Peatle ......... once again a different twist to your cover, makes it interesting, never know what your going to come up with.

Baldguitardude ..... wow that was so good, I really enjoyed it smile  Haven`t signed up to You Tube yet so couldn`t leave comments.

Topdawgz ........ ditto, just as i said re baldguitardude.  Awesome ...... please enter some more for us, your a natural, loved it also smile
