easybeat ............. lol you hard case, wrong song smile  Anyway, I like what you have done to the one you did anyway, you covered it well, made it your own and the way your playing it suits your voice.... nice one ..... thumbs up from me.

Bill, lovely to see you back on Chordie , I always miss reading your commentary on here and you certainly are missed when your not on here smile
On a side note, I have never ever seen you write anything inappropriate since I have been a Chordie member smile   Hope to see much more of you on here Bill,  all the best to you and Dondra smile

Peatle .......... great attempt at this song smile  I think i am the same as unclejoesband comment, it would end up being a folk song if i attempted it, never having sung Punk in my life smile

Happy Birthday Zurf ................ hope you had a great day smile

unclejoesband ............. lol, nope you didn`t, it`s great you joined in and chose a song smile

Tigljk ............  glad you entered heaps of song suggestions , it makes it more interesting having lots of song choices.  Explanation of why it was chosen 'from the hat' instead of a 'vote' I  explained further up the top of this thread smile  Regardless of if it had been a vote or pulled out of the hat, either way, one of your songs still could have got chosen (Vote or Hat) which means your song would still have been picked smile

Baldguitardude, Zurf, easybeat, thanks for the feedback smile

Anyone else like to make suggestions, here is your chance smile

Baldguitardude and dino48 ........ in answer to you both regarding taking a vote this month.  Initially we were going to vote and also take into account any votes from the members .... however, it was decided since unclejoesband had entered a suggestion and mekidsdad had entered a suggestion (which is great smile  that it would be wiser to pick 2 songs out of the hat, that way it was fair on everyone smile

Dont`t worry dino48, the rabbit is out dinning on parsley smile

Such lovely lyrics Jim .......... i agree this song could be interpreted many ways but after reading your perspective, it made me think of my own mum in a home with dementia now .....  and as already said "spending time with loved ones is very important", we need to make the most of it while we can  smile

Russell ..........I enjoyed foot tapping along with you and the guys, once again your all really enjoying it and getting into it smile   I did have a bit of trouble hearing the lyrics in parts though.

Awesome EVERYONE  ...... makes it more interesting this way when there`s heaps of choices to vote on or pull from the hat.

beamer ........ in short yes, Original songs can be entered, it will go in with the rest of the song suggestions.  People can do their own interpretation of it and they can go to the Song Writing Forum to get the lyrics and chords if it gets chosen.

Just a reminder that any songs that don`t get chosen this month, make sure to enter them the following month if you want to because it really does boil down to either votes or what comes out of the hat smile
