The one your comfortable and happy playing. Everyone has opinions on what is best but they might not fill your needs. Play as many ones as you can before you choose and then play them again. You'll know when you find the one you can't put down.

Hi,
Can anybody out there suggest a good, "warm" sounding steel stringed acoustic? Something that sounds close to a classical guitar, so instrumentals sound nice, but can still project well if I'm just strumming/picking contemporary tunes. Price is an issue as well. Under $300.

i'd say that your best bet is just a epiphone acoustic, and put nylon strings on it.
