Subject is supposed to read Billy Joel Cover. OK folks.  I got my new mics and USB mixer finally hooked up, but still have to learn how to adjust the mixer.  It wasn't as good as I'd hoped, but......  Recording is not for wimps, such as myself.  Especially not having editing experience, so I tend to just record mistakes and all.  Half way through the song, for the third time, my pick started slipping sideways and threw my strummimg off.  I worried about it to the end of the song.  Anyway, here it is.

I like the old country music - the new stuff not so much. The new stuff is not bad music now mind ya - It's just not my cup of tea.

My feelings exactly

Sounds like a great gift, zurf.  I love old collections like that.  Happy belated birtday and hope you enjoy the music.

I guess bonding with ones guitar has a lot to do with sound, feel, playability, weight and comfort.  I suppose I do bond with two of my guitars because they usually sound so wonderful.

I like Hank Sr better, but I do like Jr, but just haven't tried learning any.

Go with your heart, zurf.  After all, it is love.  Those nice sounding guitars can make a crazy man of you..  Good luck.

I got the Alesis Multimix 4 as mentioned buy Jerome.  As soon as I get it I will record something and see if it is any better than the mic I have now.  I'll let you know, dino.

Damn Guitarpix, you're just a practicing fool.  You're making me tired. I generally go through my list and play different songs each day.  It's funny how some songs I couldn't play well a month or two ago, finally click.  Thats why I like to go thropugh the list often.

Sounds like it could be a great Marty Robbins ballad also.

Excellent bass Viking.  My kind of music.  You have a good strong sound going on there.  I am also dabbling in the recording thing.  I received my two new mics yesterday and should get my USB mixer today I hope.  I can't wait to see what kind of sound I can get through them.  Keep up the good work.

It would have to be my HD-28 also.

Great Bob.  That's the way it works.  You get over your nerves a couple songs into the set, then you can't wait to do it again.

Well, dag nabbit, I have to watch what I say now?  What is this world coming to?  Being around the military literally all my life, I have let the bad language take over my vocabulary, but I also know when it is acceptable and when it is not.

Mine is last name, first initial.  Not quite as original as Roger, but hey....  And I didn't think Peter Tilapia sounded very good.

I would like to play banjo and fiddle.  That would be neat.

I think I can speak for everyone here.  When we become famous, Jerome can be our manager.  You might have to start with 3 million.

Bring it on Bushy.  I am at the very beginning of this journey also, but the train is moving fast.  I'm already to jump from one mic to two mics and a mixer, all in a short time.  Jerome has a lot of helpful answers, although sometimes confusing for a novice like me, but he gets the point across.  There is a lot to learn.  As I stated before, I am in this purely for the fun of it.

I hope you get it working dino.  If I could help you get a Martin, I'd do it.  I saved a really long time for it.  Good luck.

Check your webcam settings.  Maybe that will do the trick.  I'm getting ready for my next upgrade very soon.  I think I will order them tomorrow.

That looks like it would be fun.  I have to keep my eye out for a similar old dog of a guitar.  The sky's the limit.  Justin and Miley would be proud.

I haven't had the popping problem.  Hmmm.  I was just looking at the pop filters on Amazon.  I hope I didn't steer you wrong on that one, dino.  I actually love mine, but I still want to try two mics at once.  If it would have allowed me to plug two usb mics into my computer, I probably would have bought a second one.  Let me know how it turns out for you.

That sounds like what I need.  I actually get nervous before I do a simple recording, just thinking about doing the whole thing right. I need some magic.
