Hey Russ - Great song, great performance(s) and fantastic job on the mix and video. I really liked how your video shared bits of the process of what goes into putting in a polished piece of music.

This is a song I have been working on for a week or so composing lyrics, music and arranging then came the recording, video taping and many hours of editing video and music. The videos were shot with my Fugi HD camera and the music was recorded on my Boss BR-8 all the mixing was performed in the BR-8 (panning,EQ's and levels) and rendered as a MP3 in Audacity on my laptop. The video was a series of short timed videos and edited 1st in movie maker to better adjust the start and stop of each one to fill out the length of the audio then came the fun part.
I used my TraKaX pro to acheve the Picture in Picture effects which is VERY time consuming especially alignment crossfades it was a labor of love and it picked me up after watching the thumping my Packers suffered so.... without further ado A Good Hard Ride smile

The Ravens have a tenatious defense if anyone can upset the robotic offence of Tom Brady and the Patriots they will I think Atlanta will cool down Kapernick and contain his running and not make the same mistake the Packers made.

I'm dissapointed with the Packers inability to adjust and the costly turnovers and penalties, the 49er's deserved there victory nothing more to say sad

Thank you and the chords are a mix of E Adom7 and B I dont really strum the E or A I use an old blues way of playing them its  more of a moving melodie then chords as I am finger picking this arrangment perhaps someday I will do a video of my techique its self learned some of it I picked up from my time spent in southern california at Hermosa beach jamming with the Chambers bros.,Lightnin Hopkins and Sonny Terry at a few parties, to be honest I dont know anyone who plays a similar style but Im sure there are a few still alive lol

The same with me I cant read piano but I can play the melodie by ear smile

mekidsmom wrote:

I can read it!  But, I can't play it on guitar.  I haven't really honestly learned where all the notes are... I just strum chords without knowing really what I'm doing.  I could hammer the melody out on the keyboard tho!  wink
