Nice job !
I appreciate that you thought it was good enough to do a cover. I’m a little behind on answering bc I’m so busy coaching basketball games plus I have a wicked cold
Thanks again.

Holy wow !!!!
I would have loved to just be sitting in the chair watching that - it doesn't get any better thatn that = bare feet, in a relaxing atmosphere and singing and playing from the heart.
Thank you for that ! It is awesome.
Jim
neo - EXACTLY !!!!
BGD wrote "And I want an electric acoustic nylon string guitar because I have 0 nylon string guitars."
holy crap I gotta get me one of those too ! : ![]()
I keep hoping that the next guitar I buy will make me play better - still hasn't worked but I'll keep trying ! ![]()
There always seems to be that one song that sounds great on THAT guitar - and therefore I can't sell it. ( Especially true of my 12 string Fender acoustic)
The biggest drawback as far as I'm concerned is that why sell it- you will NEVER get the value for it that you paid. I went to guitar center to trade up - took my epiphone Les Paul which was a fantastic guitar - I wanted to buy a Telecaster - the were gonna give me $30 on the trade. I told them I 'd rather give it to one of my high school students for free rather than be embarrassed by that offer and walked out of the store . And I did - next day I gave it to a freshman in one of my classes that was beginning to play guitar.
JJJ - keep on keeping on !
remember these famous words of advice ....
"never sell your guitar for what you told your wife that you paid for it originally "
" you can always get another wife"
and lastly - here is an almost true made up story......
JJJ's favorite girl Chris told him he had to get rid of some guitars. Because he is a bit incapacitated of late with his vision issues, JJJ says why don't you bring into the living room half of my guitars and I will pick some out to sell. Chris says just a second and starts moving all the living room furniture into the "Great Room", where the guitars are stored. Lastly she leads JJJ into the same room. JJJ asks what are you doing ? Chris says - it was a whole lot easier to move you and the furniture than it was to move 1/2 of your guitars !!!

Funny you ask- I am just beginning to build a stratocaster.
I have built a guitar before, but now that I know a lot more about guitars I think the product will be improved.
Here is a pic of the first one I built- it's the wood one with the flag sticking up ![]()

Jim
Please do Jan. I would really like that

You are an excellent entertainer. I absolutely love it when you put comments and a little humor in it.

Yup
front row at concerts and headphones through the 1970's in college at full blast, power tools as an adult
too late for me - now i am protective, but my hearing stinks - tinnitus club for me as well !
Zurf - that was so sadly comical. ![]()
Topdown
any way to add the names to that picture ?
TF
that is wild music - what a great funky beat.
It seemed like each musician was truly adding his own unique component and some how it all blended together for a fantastic sound.
I would imagine front row at concert with them was an absolutely phenomenal experience. Play that funky music .... !!
Thanks or sharing

August 1964 on Monument Records Pretty Woman - Roy Orbison
Satisfaction - Rolling stones May 27 1965
My "professionally trained" ear doesn't think they are that much alike ?

That's how much I know about music LOL !!
as for me ...... " I know nothinggggggg !!"
That is awesome.
The beginning Harp was a little muffled (Maybe that's the way it is supposed to be ??? ) - but when they got to band playing it took off like a rocket. The singer is the perfect embodiment of the blues - looks like he just got done with a shift at work - picked up the strat and started hammering blues!!!
Thanks for the find Badeye !!
Jim
Peatle - that is awesome --- has a Ray Charles field to it.
Thank you so much !!! It made it so much better than when I play it. Loads of energy !!
JIm
if anyone wants to give it a go this is the link to it in chopro format
