That is a very good question there are a lot of people myself included who dont read tabs only because I started reading notes first,Tabs came about as a alternant way of notation for those who found it easier then traditional music notation (theory) I think it would require a programing change on Chordie to allow standard notation and I dont know how difficult this is but I for one would like to see it. smile

trial and error I also should have expressed the bar with a 1/2 note 1/8 rest 1/8 note and 1/4 note difffent to be precise it should have been a dotted 1/4 note 1/8 rest 1/8 note and a dotted 1/4 note to sound like dah & da dah which leads easier to the the 1/4 rest of the next bar this I discoverd after correcting the B to a G in the 6th bar,to bad we dont have the programing to score on chordie that would be fun smile

It looks like they did agree on a few important items, 1.extending unemployment benifits for several million people 2.not raising taxes on anyone who earns less then $400.00 a year and insuring that the price of milk will not double these and a few stop gap measures were reluctantly approved by the lamest congress in decades but there is still a lot of work to be done on the budget, unemployment, debt celing and a host of other issues.

You cant,Chordie is a search engine and dose not host songs and next time you ask a question in the forums click on the new topic tab on the top right of your screen and fill in the topic question instead of posting in someone elses topic this is concidered rude.

Hi,

I've got most of the chords from here,
http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/s/steel … de_crd.htm

but it is missing 4 chords for the song which you can hear here,
http://grooveshark.com/s/Any+Major+Dude … 4RFo?src=5

between 2minutes42seconds and 2m48s.

Would really appreciate help from someone better on guitar than me to determine these 4 chords, please.

I hooked up the Rokits and did a side by side comparison with the Behringer MS40's it was brutal the Rokits thumped the MS40's and I didnt even have them turnned up all the way so I will use the Rokits for playback on my digital BR8 and the Behringers for playback on the PC Audacity rendering and get the best of both worlds thank you Santa Harding lol

CD baby is one they even give you a website also Disk makers there are quite a few out there CD baby is the one I would at least give a look at,when you do get some CD's to market I recomend posting in the Chordie market Forum and provide the price with S&H charges you might have a website by then to put a link to so members who are interested could get a sample of the songs.

Its a great song, but there is no "easy" way to play it unless you can find the lead sheet and someone to transpose all the changes I say this only because this arrangment has a lot of moving chord changes that are not simple basic open chords and i dont think it would sound very good without them. smile

hi russ, must say i've never used one of those filters. i find (lately) that positioning the mic so that i'm singing across it not into it serves the same purpose. just a tip if anyone gets that problem.

Except for the bar F all the chords are open, the song is in G on the first chord the fingering is like a normal open G but instead of placing the 3rd finger on the 1st string third fret its on 2nd string third fret all the rest of the chords are C G7 D D7 he hammers on a open A string when he plays the G and a open G when he plays C but you should be able to follow and if you need to play a small F instead of the bar F just use the chords I listed you'll be fine. smile
