I post this reluctantly, but here's topdown circa 1980

Now - the hair that's not turning grey is turning loose! A self done No.2 clipper buzz cut every couple a months is what I consider grooming. Got more hair on my back than I do my head. ![]()

Clapton is the most predominant artist in my song book, but I wouldn't say that I "cover" any of them. I can play a few chords on a few easy chord versions. I like to attempt covers of Clapton's JJ Cale covers. ![]()
Hi 06 - when I click your link I get an error:
"Invalid Item Number, or Product Not Found"
Here's some reference books that might be of interest to you AW. Let us know how it turns out!

She's that lady from Grease, right? or am I confusing her with someone else?Anyway, I'll live a long and happy life if I never hear another song by her again!
I think she's Australian, not Greek. ![]()
Lately I've been using Ultimate Gutar for tabs as they have more new stuff, but no site compares to Chordie as far as the forums go. Good luck finding what you need!
The head admin guru is currently doing a major re-indexing. I'm sure you'll be seeing some improvements and more newer "stuff" here soon. Glad you enjoy the forums.
Whoever said ya cant write the blues if you live in Canada, hasn`t spent a freakin winter here!!!!
LOL WartHog99 - Ya got a point there, I'm hearing a tune from you, maybe the "Freezin' My Canook Off Blues". I'll be looking for it in the Songwriting section.
To all the others who gave me kudos - even though I blatantly stole it from another site, I'm glad ya got a laugh.
Amazing - 1 week ago we got 6" of ice / snow. Today it was 80 degrees (F). That's what they say about the weather around here - If you don't like it, wait a minute.
I much prefer this weekend to last. ![]()
I hear ya Ken - these call centers from India drive me nuts also. We've been having internet access problems on my job-site all winter. AT&T premium business T-1 line that I pay over $550 per month for. My secretary has been fighting customer service for months, by the time a call gets to me I am totally out of patience.
Had a problem last Thursday - my secretary called first thing in the morning (as usual) to report the problem. They called back after 5:00pm Thursday afternoon and unfortunately for them, I was the only one there. He got an earful I assure you. What killed me is that he called me responding to our problem, but didn't know our time zone or phone number (as he repeatedly asked these questions while filling out the form on his screen). LOOK IN YOUR RECORDS, THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS! - WHATS MY NUMBER? - YOU CALLED ME! JUST FIX IT OR GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!
Thank you for allowing me to vent
These call center folks must think all Americans are jerks.
Welcome to Chordie Scooter 177.
Look on the right side of the page, roughly 1/2 way down. As long as you are logged in, there should be the words "Songbook: ADD". Click on the ADD and there you go!
Welcome to the forum wamos24. Here's a couple you can try:
A fantastic book I recently picked up, explains basic CAGED theory chords and scales in a super easy to read and understand format. For US $14, I promise you can't go wrong
Fretboard Logic SE (special edition, volumes 1 & 2 combined) by Bill Edwards
Old farts like me will instantly know what these are. Thought it might be fun to see guesses from the younger Chordians out there. If you know, don't give it away yet, let's see what the kids come up with.

Yeah, I'm ready for spring. Maybe some summer tunes will warm me up.
Summer song--Chad and Jeremy
Summer Roads--Tommy Makem
Summer in the city--Lovin' Spoonful
Summertime--George GershwinI'll follow the Sun--The Beatles
But after a week of snow removal, I feel more like playing:
"How do I know my youth is all spent,
My get up and go has got up and went." by Pete Seeger
Good list ozy - Any Buffett or Marley will do, but my go to summer tune is the goofy classic by Mungo Jerry!
In The Summertime. F shape barre the A and B on 5 and 7, get the strum right and it's super easy.

Great goofy lyrics.
"when the weather is fine, you got women, you got women on your mind."
Love this kids cover

Lookin' forward to a little sunburn on my large forehead:)
Can't believe this hasn't been listed
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John
I hear ya crowellb - I remember as a kid growing up in upstate NY - we'd have 24" overnight and still have school. I remember cussing the plows as the drove by all night. That's the problem in the south - no snow plows. Things literally shut down after a dusting of snow. I left the house at 8 a.m. this morning and major highways had still not seen a plow. I had no problem with my 4 wheel drive, but I wouldn't have wanted to be out there in anything else. I've been working in the mountains of West Virginia and have been dealing with this stuff since November. I loved the snow as a kid, but I would be happy to never see this white crap again. Looks pretty in pictures - you yankees can keep it. ![]()

This site has chords for a ton of older tunes. Lots of classics on there.
Hi Horst and welcome to Chordie. I found a version here:
http://www.tabsrus.nl/Download/5140
although I don't know what a tjoeke train is.
Please read the FAQ found under the resources tab. Chordie does not host songs, but is a search engine that picks up songs from other sites.
Nice catch there topdown. I was guessing G-Love and Special Sauce.
I got one for y'all;
"Should I fall out of love, my fire in the night, to chase a feather in the wind;"
Led Zeppelin-All Of My Love
A silly one for ya
"I could hide out under there
I just made you say underwear"
"It's a common stipulation that there ain't no hope but there's a tire swing ,baby, at the end of our rope"
ps-Grammys aint schni-ah-zitt............Jethro Tull won best heavy metal band over Metallica(PP).....Come on dude, you can do better than that!.................
I'll do better than that!
Milli Vanilli's won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1990.
Oh wait... is that better or worse? Was mili a midi?
Never mind.............
(PS - Tull, not metal ..[well a flute is made of metal], but greater than Metallica everyday IMO).
