I love the last lines !! That will be or (already was) a great hit at chordiestock!!!
Your voice was perfect for this song. Superb performance.
Jim
Mojo - That is just fantastic! Skillful playing, superb voice. I 'm liking that a lot and I'm a huge Robbie Robertson fan
Way to go --- perfect demonstration of the phrase " NAILED IT !"
Jim
And the keyboard singer reminds me of pro wrestler of days past - Rick Flair https://i.ytimg.com/vi/f_hQjgsmHf0/hqdefault.jpg
Great poster. Looks like you " Fab Four" will be having a great time!

Hope all goes well!
What branch of service did you serve in? I am in your debt for it!!
Jim
Very nice Mojo.
That will be one that Zellie can play and sing a generation or two down the line.
A great love story told there my friend!
Thanks for sharing
Jim
Perfect. Thanks Doug!!!
Jim
I'll get in on this. I wanted to use them to just practice strumming along to sings. I bought a trio which you can record your chords and then it plays back. That is a great idea if you play like Russell or one of you guys, but for me it was (At least for now ) a wasted investment . I tried to use audacity but again it was way above my pay grade and patience. So I just use the record button on my computer and watch stuff on youtube
Doug
I'd like to that. How'd you do it?

I just spent some time going through the photos of the luthiers on the site.
They are so impressive. I cannot fathom the time, talent, and passion that went into creating such masterpieces.
This is art at a whole different level. I wish I wasn't 3000 miles away, I would love to see them in person.
In addition, the performers (I would anticipate) will be of matching quality - making this a really unique and worthwhile event.
Be sure to post some pictures of your visit.
thanks for sharing

I think I had that same thing happen, but then realized that where it list your songbook there is a little arrow and other song books you have are listed there . For example, I loaded a song and it created a new songbook. I had to move it to my other songbook which had over a 100 songs that wasn't initially showing. After I moved it I just deleted the songbook with that new song. s
I'm not sure that is the same issue as yours, but if it is - it may be the solution.
Have a great day
Jim

that picture of fishing with ice and snow reminds me of an old joke... here goes---
These three men are ice fishing one day on a lake that they have fished for years. The had always secured the best spots before others arrived and this year was no different. Just as they had settled in to the best fishing areas, a young lad arrived on the scene. The young boy walks right past their fishing spots and goes over to an area where no one ever fishes- the poorest spot on the lake. The boy baits his hook and with in a minute is pulling out large fish, one after another. The older gents aren't even getting a nibble. Then the boy leaves to use the outhouse on shore. Immediately after the boy leaves the spot the older men convene on it and fish it like crazy, but don't even get a nibble. Soon the boy returns and sees that they men have taken his spot. He says nothing, and just moves over to the area which they had vacated. He baits his hook and starts fishing - immediately pulling some more whoppers. The old guys are stunned. Finally, with their pride damaged, and their curiosity getting the better of them, they go over to where the boy is busy pulling another huge one out of the water. The eldest of the gents says to the boy.... what is your secret son, how is it you are so lucky. The boys looks up with wide eyes and mumble "kephwrjhfwrm" The second man says , "what ?" speak English young man! The boy again looks up and repeats ""kephwrjhfwrm"" . Finally the third man gets right up to the boy and says " son you need to respect your elders - now tell us what is the damn secret to catching all these fish!?"
The boy stands up , puts his hands by his mouth and spits out this enormous wad - and then calmly says - "keep your worms warm"! ![]()
I just changed it Bill - made it more realistic - like a girl he had known all along - but somehow overlooked.
Thanks for the constructive advice - I love it. Hope the new change works better.

[song]
{t: Best There Is}
[G]There I was standing [C] near a cloud
[G]heart full of lonely, my [D]head sadly bowed
[G] waiting for the wind to [C]take me away
When a [D] girl I once knew [G] asked me to stay
[G] she wondered if I would [C] go for a walk
[G] Have a cup of coffee where [D]we could talk
[G]Her smile gave me hope for a [C]better day
Then she [D]took my hand and we walked[G] away
Chorus
Seems she [C] knows how to make me feel just right
[G]love me tender all through the night
[C]the best there is, best there 'll ever be,
[D] the best there' is at loving me.
[C]knows how to make me feel just right
[G]love me tender all through the night
[C] best there is, best there 'll ever be,
she's the [D] best thing ever [C]happened, happened to[G] me.
[G]the look in her eyes and the [C]way she cares
[G]I know that her love will [D] always be there
[G]She makes me laugh like I [C]haven't known when
And [D] makes everything old seem [G]new again
-
[G]The way she comforts [C] my worst fears
[G]The way she takes away [D] all my tears
[G]She makes me feel like [C] I can fly
her [D]sweet, sweet smile is the [G]reason why
Chorus
Seems she [C] knows how to make me feel just right
[G]love me tender all through the night
[C] best there is, best there 'll ever be,
[D] best there is at loving me.
[C]knows how to make me feel just right
[G]love me tender all through the night
[C] best there is, best there 'll ever be,
she's the [D] best thing ever [C]happened, happened to[G] me.
yeah...
she's the [D] best thing ever [C]happened, happened to[G] me.
she's the [D] best thing ever [C]happened, happened to[G] me.
