Why are all my songs "not available online?"

What's that got to do with guitar? Lol

I can read music! That little doohickey goes up, I sing higher, it goes down, I sing lower. Either way, I still sing like the guy (or girl) on my right! Lol

Ooh! That's a good one wormproof. If I could play that as well as I sing it, I could quit my day job! Lol. I'm still sticking with Elvis for romantic AND easy. "I can't help falling in love with you"

Celebrated my 50th birthday at Mardis Gras this winter! What a party! Did a lot of singing in school and church choirs. Lead singer in a band when I was younger. No one around to play the songs I like to sing so I got my first guitar about two years ago. Can't sing as well as I used to but that's okay cause I can't play guitar too good neither! Lol

HOLD EVERYTHING! I got it! The best ever! "I can't help falling in love" by ELVIS! Easy to play! Easy to sing! Can't be beat! Somebody top that! I dare ya! lol

Start with bands or artists you like and look for songs you "know" with "chords" you know. I think it's important, you know the "songs" well. Add songs with chords you know plus a chord or two you don't know. I started with songs I like to sing. Lucky for me I like singing Jimmy Buffet, Garth Brooks, Cat Stevens. Many of their songs are easy but lots are hard. Just search the artist you like and when you find a song you can play, print it. I keep copies in folders. Easy, harder and someday! Good luck!

"I cross my heart" by George Strait. Worked for me! Wear a cowboy hat! wink

I found a Yamaha acoustic for about $200 at guitar center that's easy to play and sounds good.

Any chord that requires my pinky! Lazy, numb, no good, useless digit! Lol

"Wild World" by Cat Stevens.
It's the first song I did that made me feel like I had accomplished something and the first time someone said, "Hey, I know that song!"
"Father and Son" is easy too! Both songs are beautiful and favorites of mine!
