I'm pulling for the Cardinals, though I expect Pittsburg to win, Curt Warner played for the St.Louis Rams if I'm not mistaken , and played in the Super bowl there and won, he was in another Super Bowl and lost with someone else. He played over sea's somewhere before that with Jake Delhome, they were on the same team. I'm from North Carolina but not a Panthers fan, is it to late for for 49ers to get in? I guess so, oh well. Also I think the Cardinals would have had a better chance to win, had they played it this weekend since they are on a roll, I'm afraid having the week off will cool them down, and lessen their chances.

Hi Littlebiglad,
As Old man Darlin you to say on the Andy Griffith show, just jump in and hang on!

Hi Bensop,
I'm sorry this hasn't taken off like you had hoped, I for one thought it was a pretty good idea. I didn't read your post and come away with the idea that it was to be a competion, or competitive in any way, but merely a way for people of all degrees, (especially beginners and lower level players to gauge their progress and see where they stand, and possibly to set goals to get to the next level, I couldn't at this time know anything about setting those levels, but wanted you to know that I liked the idea. I'm not sure you'd need judges to let someone know they're level, under the right chart, with the right criteria on the chart I think one cound judge theirselves. Just my opinion. Though if anyone could,I think Russell is well qualified, as well as a few others. Anyway, again, just wanted you to know I liked the idea.

Zurf,
You are just to funny, I love your directness and sense of humor to most any subject, especially your thoughts on the B chord, that cracked me up.

Well your welcome Matelot, and that fire just shows passion, a very important ingredient to playing or just living, enjoy!
Cam
Hi MateLot,
Please forgive our manners, and let me be the first to say "welcome to Chordie" I guess in our sometimes to busy live's we overlook things, by accident, so please give us all another chance. Everyone here is actually very helpful, you will find varying degrees of knowledgeable people, who I'm sure can and will answer your questions. I myself am not quiet qualiflyed to do so, so I'll leave that to the others. Everyone here is very friendly and I'm sure will offer you their expertise. So again welcome to chordie and I hope you enjoy!

Hi Geoaguiar,
Well, today my heart was broken, I decided to go back and get that guitar, it was gone! I was sick, I loved it so much, it felt so right in my hand, as if it were your first born, looking up at me for the first time smiling, saying I'm the guitar you've been looking for, I belong to you. It felt like a piece of magic in my hand,I felt with this guitar I could reach my potiental, I was devasted that it was gone. I wanted to cry, it was like a piece of my heart was taken from me. I guess the moral of the story is, if and when you find the right guitar, wife, car, or be it whatever, you better grab it, wait, and it's gone.

I don't remember where I read it, but I did once read "be it true or not", that they weren't really smashing their high dollar guitars, that while playing they would switch guitars to a similar looking cheap guitar, that was stashed behind an amp stack, then smash it, again not sure thats true, but I just can't see smashing a high priced guitar.

Hi GuitarPix,
How about Jackson Browne's version of "Stay"...it's only G Em C D
Cam
Hi Everyone,
I had been considering getting an Agile Dauntless SBC, but now I've held in my hand a Micheal Kelly Patriot Custom and fell in love with this guitar, I can get it for $360.00, what do you guys think? It has Grover tuners, abolone inlays,Mahogany body, and maple top, and an ebony fingerboard. it is in absolutely great contion, looks great, been taking very well care of, looks as if it's right off the factory floor and include's the hardshell case. So, I'm guess I'm asking if anyone owns one and what they think of it, any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi TopDown,
Thanks for the mention, and yes, I'd still love to get together, that would be great. I'm not one to make resolutions that I can't keep either, it's also funny that while in elevators I always try to crack a little joke or at least speak to people, everyone seems to get very quiet while riding in them, never understood why excatly. I think the world as a whole could use a good dose of your resolutions, simple, attainable, and takes so little effort to make someone else smile. I guess, if I had to pick one other than to make people smile it would be to keep practicing my guitar, trying to get better, again, just like TopDown, seems we have several things in common, anyway I'll keep studying, reading, asking questions, and playing, I can tell I've improved, cause my wife actually has told me she likes my playing now.
Cam
Ok Thanks LesPaulGuy,
That answer works for me, I have one more if you don't mind, I keep reading about a "tailpiece", on the guitar, at least I hope thats what I remember, could you explain what that is excatly?
Thanks Again
Cam
Hey Lespaulguy,
I'm new to the electric, and amps, so if you could please tell me what the suppressor, or noise gate is, and what it does, thanks I appreciate it very much.
Cam
Thanks James,
I thought it was interesting myself to know these things. Like you I stumbled upon this site while searching for songs, tabs, and chords. I even bypassed it a few times before ever giving it a look, when I finally realized all it had to offer, I've seldom looked elsewhere. Many thanks to Per, and all the moderaters for such a great site.
Cam
Hi Geoaguiar,
I really appreciate the advice, I'm glad you like them, from everything I've read they are great guitars, thanks again for your input!
Cam
Thanks Guys for all the advice, I'll give each one a good look. I don't have an electric guitar just yet, just doing my research as far as the amp goes, I've decided which guitar I'm gonna get however, it's an Agile Dauntless SBD, gets great reviews, anyway thanks again for all the advice.

Hi Everyone,
I was just posting on another topic about how many members there are on Chordie, and started wondering just who might be the longest standing member of Chordie, who has the most time in, the old pro's and maybe you could tell us about all the changes you've seen on chordie over it's exsistence.
Cam
Hi All,
I was just wondering if any of the administraters or anyone else new how many registered members there are on Chordie. Maybe it says somewhere on here and I'm missing it, but I was just curious as to how strong our numbers are now.
Cam
Hi Everyone,
I've been looking at amps for an electric guitar, but not knowing much about them I thought I'd ask everyone's advice. I can only spend about $150.00 to $200.00 for one so please keep that in mind. Like everyone else I want the most bang for my buck. What I'm looking for is an amp that has a good clean sound and one that has at least some distortion, maybe one that would be used to play classic rock, or something bluesy, and maybe someone could explain the tube amp to me. So see I need some help or advice about amps and would appreciate any advice.
Cam
Hi Everyone,
I'm still looking for any information about the Agile Dauntless guitars, I like the looks of the SBD black flame, I would love to hear from anyone who owns and model of the agile Dautless, thanks for any help.
Cam
Hey Guys,
I looked at the Dauntless, liked what I read in so far as the reviews. It's also in my price range. I have an acoustic, but have been thinking seriously about an electric, I've been doing my research, and was thinking of the Epiphone, but now I'm wondering if I should go with the Dauntless. I have a question or two though....On the Rondo site it says it's flame green, I'm not sure of that color, I'd like a black, or sunburst color, they didn't mention other colors, can you get it in black or sunburst, also what kind of amp and cord are you guys using, I'd like one good, but affordable, something that I can get a little distortion with. any suggestions? I appreciate everyones opinions and help, thanks alot guys!
Cam
Gordon,
There are lots of versions if you go to artists, look under U for Urban, then scroll down, hope you find one you like.
