Topic: Sweet Rosalie

Alright...been lurking here quite a while especially in songwriting and finally have the courage to put one up. I occasionally collaborate with another musician (with considerably more skill/talent than I will ever have). I write 'em and then we collaborate to finish them. Anyhow, this is the first (and probably the last depending on the comments) country flavored song I've ever written and I'n not even sure why it came out that way. I think it started with a bass line. Anyhow, this goes out to all the aging men who have yet to realize that "the bait ain't what it used to be"!!!!

Thanks for taking the time to listen Phill. We had fun with that voice. I had to re-record the 2nd verse because it was making me laugh! Small things amuse small minds I guess!

Ha ha!  I enjoyed this geo!  It has an Adam Sandler feel to it... with that said, I LOVE his funny quirky little songs!  The chorus really does have a great sing along quality to it too.  Very good!

Thanks Kenny. I'm a big fan of your stuff. I have a give a lot of credit to my collaboration partner he polishes the turds!!!!!! I write 'em and they usually don't come out pretty on the first go 'round!

Not sure how "Busted Pink Jesus" came about...I know Pink Jesus is slang for heroin; I guess it just sounded cool, though I'm no fan of heroin.... smile
