Topic: Ode to a Special Education teacher

I wrote this song as a year end tribute to a Special Ed teacher in our school. She is such a wonderful teacher and loves her job and her kids -she is amazing.

This is so good and it brings back memories from much younger days. Great  work Jim and I know how much it means to you.

Ms Holmes must have been one great teacher to inspire you to write such beautiful words about her. I hope you record and post this one

It's nice to know that some teachers are still appreciated the way they were back in my day. All the teachers seemed to be in their 70s and loved the freedom they had to use the cane! Some because they could make a joke of it and entertain us hooligans. And some because they were sadistic perverts still rooted in Victorian times. Ah! how things have changed?

From your words I detect a bond of respect and fondness for your colleague, the words describe it perfectly. Well done headmaster, another winner.

Such a terrific tribute to person who has obviously made a positive difference. Some teachers do indeed seem indifferent to their duties, but many / most of them are in the profession because it's a calling, and the care they exhibit is impressive.

That's awesome. 
I wrote a poem to my High School "Competency"  math teacher called 4 Wheel Wonder.  He was paralyzed form mid chest down.  We stayed very close after HS and he was a great friend.  He liked it so much that he had someone write it in calligraphy with India ink and framed it.

I think your friend will love this also. The chorus is so true and accurate for anyone.  That smile and word of support does make you want to learn, and can brighten a dark day.
