A Memory Lost In A Song by Jim Kenyon

Verse 1

[G]There was a time that I called you

There was a time that I called you [C] mine

Not a day passes by when you're [G] nobody special

Woman [D] don't you know, you were [C]always on my [G] mind

.

Verse 2

[G]There was a time when I held you

There was a time I held you all night [C] long

never more than a moment a[G]way from my heart

but now it's [D] only a memory that's [C]lost in a [G] song

.

chorus

[C]I miss you a little too much, and a lot too [G] often

[C] Seems my heart has found a million [G] ways

[C] I wonder how you are, do you miss me at[G] all ?

oh I [D] just can't let [C] go of all our yester[G]days

.

Verse 3

[G]There was a time when I loved

There was a time when I loved how you made me [C] feel

I can close my eyes to what I [G]don't want to see

but it[D] seems that some [C]hurts just never [G] heal

.

chorus

[C]I miss you a little too much, and a lot too [G] often

[C] Seems my heart has founda million [G] ways

[C] I wonder how you are, do you miss me at[G] all ?

oh I [D] just can't let [C] go of all our yester[G]days.

oh I [D] just can't let go [C]of all our yester[G]days

oh I [D] just can't let go [C]of all our yester[G]days

Re: A Memory Lost InA Song

Quite a whistful little song Jim, if that's the right term? I haven't the time to give it a strum yet and I wonder how you do the frazing? There must be a recording coming up?

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.
