Topic: JANUARY 2026 FSOTM - ANYTHING GOES

Welcome to JANUARY 2026 and this months FSOTM.      

Pretty much anything goes this month.  It can be your favourite singer, band, song, word or words or an original song you wrote about anything.

Some suggestions for this month were:

“Getting help .. each week with a lady who specializes in hands”.  In other words, try to write a song with that sentence in the song big_smile

It   was  a  great  song  before  ,its  better  now . I  think  Jim   has  made  use  of  one  othe  AI  tools  now  available  ,and  by  doing  this  really  enhances    his  songs .Jim   is  the  biggest  critic  of  his  own voice but  by  using  a song   generator  creates  a  demo from jims  original  lyrics   which  is  almost  as  good  as  a live  band  could .
I  know  this  is  happening  in Nashville  at  the  moment  as  my  freind  George  who   is  a  good  session  player  based  in Nashville    discussed   this  with  me  when we  met   up  over   xmas .
Its  a  new  tool   we  all now  can use .

Hi everyone, I`m back from being away for most of this month.  So, I haven`t been on to listen or comment of entries.  Nice to be back but I do love to be away at the beach, I think being a beach bum is in my blood big_smile

Anyway, Richard thoroughly enjoyed your entry.  I hadn't heard that one before (showing my ignorance once again on musicians).  I will actually go listen to the original of this to compare but without having heard the original and just from listening to your version of it, you did a great job.  I liked your performance all round and think you did a great job.

TIGLJK, really good, loved it.  I do have a fondness for country music (funnily enough something I don't sing myself much which is weird because I do like country music).   Great lyrics once again, and if what Grah1 has written about it being AI generated vocals and music then, great.  What a way to get your songs that you have written out there.  I really wish some famous person would find some of your songs and perform or promote them as you have written some wonderful songs over the years.
