G                                       C                                   G
just another beer can tossed off in the floorboard
just one more mile down some old country road
D
that's where my troubles go
Em
that's just how i roll
D                                                          C                               G
beer cans in the floorboard down some old country road

G
there's a pistol in the glove box
Em
shot gun on the rack
         C
empty bottle of whiskey between us
D
but there ie cold beer in the back

old 68 ford with a step side
and three on the tree
not a care in the world between us
my brother and me

got a half tank of gas and a Qbeam
and lots of dirt roads
old sawed off mossberg 12 gauge
full of double aught loads

G                                       C                                   G
just another beer can tossed off in the floorboard
just one more mile down some old country road
D
that's where my troubles go
Em
that's just how i roll
D                                                       C                                  G
beer cans in the floorboard down some old country road

the oil companies came with the fracking
and hunting clubs to
up went gates and fences
what's a poor boy to do

now the dirt roads are all paved with gravel
for the saltwater trucks
and you don't need a spotlight
oil rigs light the night up

the timber was turned into paper
and pine trees grow in straight rows
they call it  a pine desert
where no wild life goes

G                                       C                                   G
just another beer can tossed off in the floorboard
just one more mile down some old country road
D
that's where my troubles go
Em
that's just how i roll
D                                                            C                             G
beer cans in the floorboard down some old country road

out of tune out of key and out of touch
