This is just a little song about the woman whose eyes to this day still leave me speechless. I hope you all like it.

Mr Prine, I mean Jeff,
   Sorry, oops, I thought I was reading some J.P. stuff there. I'm not sayin' you ripped off a song from him but stylistically, as I've told you before, your work reminds me of Mr Prine. This is another really fine song. I like the feel good, happy tone of the verse and the sad to happy feel transition of the chorus. I enjoy your music/lyrics. Thanks again for sharing.

Thanks James and Toney - On the first and third line I go from a C to a C7 but I thought it might be a little too busy to include for the forum. It does give the song a nicer sound I think if you want to give it a try.

Toney - the C7/Fmaj7 along with Dm7/Am7 chord mix sounded good to me and the words seemed to fit
