This song is dedicated to One of Our Girlies "Kath," whos passed over suddenly last Thursday.

I know we will all miss her so. Her Robust Laugh  still echoes in my head, when i showed Her this Canvas
one lunchtime, and said i was writing a song about him and the painting.   Her Reply " Can i be your Bridesmaid Helena, when you and him get Hitched"   Still makes me laugh to this day.

Dia Linn Kath, and rest a while. My love as always.

Another fine piece of poetry in a song.
I'm sure your Girlie friend would have been pleased to have this song dedicated to her memory.

Hi Helena,

How gifted you are to be able to write down such sentiments and memories with so much feeling and talent.

I must ask; do you begin your songs as poems, or do they come to you as songs? as with "Broken Bones Bootlegger", this could fall either side of the fence.

It's a lovely piece of writing.

I have been writing for years Phil.. Some years ago some musician friends said"

They could be musical poetry? Sometimes they do come with melody.  I just love writing, and reading

everyone elses work here. I get a great buzz in the writing section.

Your work on Broken Bones is splendid.. Wish i  had the expertise to achieve this.

I have asked  another expert here, "Roger Guppy" to post it to FOC for me. I hope to also hear

it on Your Myspace.

My condolences on the sudden and unexpected loss of your very good friend.

This is a wonderful tribute to her memory. You have a knack of noting the ordinary, the mundane, and then expressing it with great feeling and emotion.
