A                                                    D
Why the hell did Nashville sell her soul

Re: Ain't No Living Legends Anymore

hi bob,

i take it this song comes from the heart. it's a shame you feel country music has souled out (pun) but every form of music has to progress...then i ask why? why cant music just keep on when it's good enough? maybe it's because a new generation has to put it's own stamp on the "new" generation. usually killing the genre!

i watched a paul simon concert on tv the other day, he played some of his old songs "boxer" etc, but he'd sexed up the arrangements, killed the songs for me...maybe i'm a traditionalist?

i like your song, recording soon?

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Re: Ain't No Living Legends Anymore

Hmm i must try these notes.

Re: Ain't No Living Legends Anymore

Nice song Bob.  I agree with your sentiments.  Most of the country music fans I work with have stopped listening to the genre because its no longer the country we knew.  I suppose the old time country fans thought that the "outlaws" like Willie and Waylon ruined back in the day too. As Phil said, times change - but that don't mean I have to like it.

I share your sentiments, shoodoo.
Who's going to save us now that John Wayne's gone?

We pronounce it "Guf Coast".
Ya'll wanna go down to the Guf?

Re: Ain't No Living Legends Anymore

Nice Write Bob smile

The times they are a changin for sure.
I'm also a traditionalist and favor the country/western from times gone by. Somehow its heart is gone along with the great legends.

Well Done and Merry Christmas smile
