Topic: Gibson cable

I was reading my new Popular Science and it appers Gibson has put out a 16ft. recorder cable, sounds like it would be alot of help too some of us. Have any of you seen it yet. I am going too check it out later on the web. Cost $99.00. not bad for a memory cable.

Re: Gibson cable

Now that's a gadgeteer's gadget! Looks like it could be a useful part of the songwriting process, especially when trying out different note combos for licks, solos, etc.

Re: Gibson cable

I dont think this is a necessary item any loop machine dose the same thing. that said it looks cool but I have been known to purchase unnecessary things from time to time lol

Re: Gibson cable

I'm kind of with Russell on this one.... it's cute, but only 8 hours on a battery?  I'm already going broke supporting the good folks at Duracell!!

It's easier to pipe everything through your DAW and edit later..... the computer is likely on anyway, and with my kind of luck the battery would just die in the middle of something exceptional... not that there's much of that quality happening lately.

Re: Gibson cable

sounds  a  bit like  the  gadget line 6  were giving away  with  there  amps  a  few  years  back .I  received  one  when I  bought  my  spider 75 never  used it  the  spider  has its  own built in looper but   I  still prefer  the  old  Boss  rc2 which  is  so  easy  to  use  .But  as  Doug says  DAW  soft  ware  is  out  there and  there are  many good  free  programs .Audacity  works  fine costs  nothing .
