Topic: Help me and my band

For about three years we have been trying to get a band started...well about 7 months ago our dream came true,we got together a band...we now have practice every Saturday,we have cool songs,we have a bass player,drummer,and guitarist...we did have a name until we voted that the name sounded gay,and thats our problem.............WE NEED A BAND NAME.........HELP.......

ok...you need a name... well what kind of band are you in for a start...original or covers?? Also it depends on the look your after too... you need to take in the entire picture of what genre of music you play even down to the personality types that you hev in the band...the last thing you want is for you all to be arguing about the name. Either that or pick something so random and unrelated that just by seeing the name on a poster make people want to come and see you out of intrest. Hope this helps.

how about a name for a band called " We need a name" or plod goes awol


can be anything you like really as said.


Something people will remember,


look at al lthe songs of your favourite band and jumble some words up.

I have a name for some projects im workin on and the jumble of it all is called "Hello, we are music"...  I think its interesting.

are u still trying to find a name? the fact that u got a band together is a good start, so why not call it something like, (3 muskateers) or (3-got together) or however many of u there is ur band, or all of ur first intials- this may sound a bit cheesy to you though. good luck.

First of all, what is your style? Are you rock, punk, goth, country, or something like that? Here are some ideas for a few of these styles: for rock you could use something like "Rock Out". Hey...

I had a band a while ago although it failed because most of the other girls couldn't play or sing very well.

However... we did think of quite a few names

One that we decided on was 'black lashes'.  Since it was kind of good to describe us and our old-school rock sound we stuck with it... until we broke up that is lol

I agree with ken 'we need a name' is hot. when i was 7 i had a band called 'cherry bomb'. lets hope you dont go in that direction. lol
