Because Google buys ad-space, and there is a small section on the pages devoted to such ads to support this Free Website.  It should not be too intrusive and if seeing ads is a problem for you, then you have the option of using an ad blocker on your browser to avoid seeing them.

If there are any ads blocking any content, please take a screenshot and send til to admin@chordie.com together with basic info about device (phone/tablet/desktop), operating system and browser.

I need ads to be able to run the site. However, they should not be intrusive and/or block content.

I use Firefox 59.2 and use Adblock Plus.  If I user my my ipad or Iphone I see all the ads so I only use them to surf when I am  away from home. The newest upgrade seems faster and have no problems at all. Thank you for keeping Chordie running  and thank you administrators for what you do every day.
