Topic: New song idea.

So if lyrics with out music is a poem, then I hope music with out lyrics qualifies for this section  smile

Just playing around after a long time of not playing. I came up with just this at first.

Bm5 – G  (Root on 3rd only) – A5 (On 2nd fret barred, the cheat way) – C5

Anyone got any good or better ideas for the chorus?
And I just realized its a little like April Wine's "All Over Town"  there for a second,,, NOT intentional.

Hey Scott - My opinion is that yes, this is absolutely a song, or song in work, and both tracks sound to me pretty good as well. As for sounding like another song, I find that about the stuff I write all the time. I too don't have any intent, but I don't think I can help from being influenced by music I hear or have heard. New songs for me come out of a combination of many different things that have crossed my path, kind of like how a chef comes up with a new recipe from being influenced by their previous experience cooking, eating, and living.
