Topic: Christmas comes but once a year

Woke up this morning and started thinking about Christmas. 
I remembered Bill asked me to write a song regarding my brother as well - so I  sort of put the two together
so this is dedicated to my brother Bob.

I probably won't record it - bc i can't do it justice - but maybe if  one of you want to  - I would love to hear your version.

Jim I love the way you write the perfect lyrics. I admire your songwriting and look forward to hearing this one. Another excellent bit of writing. I can hear Angels singing it in my mind.

This one is as perfect as cane be.  I hope I can here it it recorded too and I sure someone  famous would not record it too.

Very nicely done, TIG. This one takes me out of the materialistic hustle & bustle, and reminds me of the eternal truths upon which Christmas is founded.

Might be leaning a bit too religious, but  - it's just the way the song is.

I re-wrote some of the lyric - toned done the religious component a bit - I think its a little more amicable.
Changed a few of the chords and re-phrased the fit of some of the lyrics.
I like it a lot better

If so - it must be catching - I have been less than motivated this past week --- just hanging out with my fam and not missing the guitar at all.
