I loved a lot of women

Others call me a liar

G
Whether I go to heaven

Or if I end up in Hell,

You know that I have lived my life.

Let those who know me
Em
Judge what I have done

I have waltz with angels,

Re: HEAVEN OR H#LL

I like it Beamer,  I'd like to hear you play it.

Live in the "now" - a contentment of the moment - the past is gone - the future doesn't exist - all we ever really have is now and it's always "now".

Re: HEAVEN OR H#LL

A very tongue in cheek sort of a song. Had a quick run through and sort of changed the last line very slightly. Hope you don't mind.

And with the devil we all burn up the track
Wether I go to heaven
Or if I end up in h#ll
You know that I have lived my life
And won't be coming back

I do apologise but it sort of works for me.

Re: HEAVEN OR H#LL

So, We worked this a bit at pratice sunday, but we had to work out rough spots.  this link is just a scratch track with my son cory  doing a beat.  he is using a dbl kick pedal on the kick drum, (I am not a fan of it for this song but it did work pretty good.  He is too young to actually "get" where I am tying to come from.)
He did get me playing mostly in the pocket though!  big_smile

Re: HEAVEN OR H#LL

I would delete “Key of C” as you’ve written some cool modulations in here but no part of it is in C smile

Well I knew I should have made a note of which variation of the progressions  from ALLCHORDS web page.  it was one of them in C or G .  I can't remeber where I came up with the A#/Bb except maybe it was just what sounded good to me. LOLOL big_smile

Re: HEAVEN OR H#LL

my vocals suck here , and for some reason we had a hard time gelling last night. (thursdays seem to be going that way) but hereis a try at it from last night.

I also think an acoustic guitar would be a good addition.  looking at running stereo clean out of my RP and one dirty channel and one acoustic.

Re: HEAVEN OR H#LL

Hi Beamer. I like your words so I looked for it via the link but SoundCloud say they can't find the song. I dare say you'll put it up again?

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Re: HEAVEN OR H#LL

Well I don’t know what happened to the original link.  I will re-record it an maybe sing it better.
Last night I was playing it with the Em and to me it doesn’t sit right.  Sounds good on piano but from B to Em there is not much of a change.
