Re: PENANCE

Beamer

Sounds like this knight needs a new castle to find a damsel that truly needs him.
Interesting correlation in the lyrics.

Get on your steed and ride, young man ride !
It seems the known keeps haunting the old castle.  Search for new opportunity,

Just my humble interpretation.

Thanks for sharing - I'd like to hear how it is played and sung.
I'm sure it is "metalized" ( and oh the irony there - metal ARMOR, METAL SONG! smile ) somehow
Jim

Your vision is not limited by what your eye can see, but what your mind can imagine.
Make your life count, and the world will be a better place because you tried.

"Use the talents you possess, for the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except only the the best." - Henry Van Dyke

Re: PENANCE

OH and working on a recording.  May just be instrumental.  I need a good 135 BPM back beat.

Re: PENANCE

Those are brilliant lyrics Beamer that could work with music played in all sorts of genres. I like the way those lyrics are open to all sorts of back stories.

Re: PENANCE

I re-arranged the song a bit on the last edit.

“Find your own sound.  Dont be a second rateYngwie Malmsteen be a first rate you”

Re: PENANCE

Re: PENANCE

Ok I dropped an important verse when I did my last edit.  So edit 3 gets it back in.

“Find your own sound.  Dont be a second rateYngwie Malmsteen be a first rate you”

– George Lynch 2013 (Dokken, Lynchmob, KXM, Tooth & Nail etc....)
