Topic: Weather Expert

Not much activity on Chordie at the mo,so thought i`d post this gem(or germ)
This is not a song just me doing an off the cuff ramble with a couple of chords thrown in.
love doing these .its a real foot tapper,so get ready to dance.!! it`s kinda rockabilly meets disco meets punk with a bit of metal
thrown in for good measure, with a reggae latin feel.

Re: Weather Expert

I loved that Brian, lol, it made me laugh and I had a smile on my face the whole time listening to that.  It kinda reminded me of Flight of the concords how they would talk between their songs and strum while talking and they would talk on any subject and make it funny.  You did that, I think you have found a new talent smile

Lord Byron, sorry Brian!!!! Just like Jan I also smiled all the way through and lol on several parts, fluffy clouds and non-fluffy clouds? It put me in mind of deck of cards, not rap but telling a story, although you missed out snow...come on you can't live in a country renowned for mountains and not mention snow!

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Re: Weather Expert

Easy beat for people not from New Zealand it can be confusing knowing when locals speak are we talking about weather or wether. Now I suggest to overseas people if in a Kiwi bar  with baa flies or sheepish personalities that the subject of  turning an up and coming ram into a wether  could be a very delicate or controversial topic. To give you an idea of the average Kiwi psyche   unless they are vegan or vegetarian in Spring all these baby lambs appear in paddocks all over the country. Overseas visitors and none meat eaters look at these lambs and think wow what cute looking animals where as the New Zealanders see Spring lambs as tasty or delicious creatures. So for some advocates the fact a male sheep known as a wether who has had his breeding potential taken away from him is  a subject that can cause deep division among the wether people and the none wether people. So warning if visiting NZ think carefully about that word weather or is it wether. Its all about whether you want to support one side or the other or maybe sit on the fence at the edge of a paddock and enjoy some New Zealand scenery.

Re: Weather Expert

lol Peatle, your mind is indeed interesting, it heads off in all directions, no matter what the topic.  I was sitting here chuckling as I read your very informative narrrative on the weather verses wether.  Oh the conversations you must have smile
