Quite interesting. I would have to understand much more music before I ever attempted to write a progressive rock piece, although it does seem like it would be a really cool thing to do.  There have been some great progressive albums, I have a few.
Thanks for sharing this, I enjoyed the speaker - he knows his stuff.

EB I like that  guys perspective on music. I always say  "Even if you suck at music or style you've chosen to try, if it makes you happy, do it anyway!."
