Topic: Time Whispers - new song

I wrote this morning for my  Chordie SOM  entry

I liked it - so I thought I'd post here as well.

Hi Jim that is a top piece of song writing.  Here is a rough idea of how I hear it in my head. I will take it down after a few days as I know my recording of the first part of your song isn't very good.

Graham - yes - quite sad - I can't really say why - guess it was just the mood I was in.
Easybeat - I like the lyrics - IDK about being my best, as I can't sing a lick, so it only sounds good in my head. smile 
Peatle - thanks for giving it a go - I always like when others do my songs - it is so interesting
to see how others interpret the lyrics and play the music. I like how you did the chorus - with the walk down !
Phill - Thanks for giving it a look - yeah a bit on the downside - just trying to envision a person
trying to figure out what the heck went wrong in a relationship - and knowing it isn't going to
get fixed.

I recorded the song this morning - only had time for one take. 
I have no idea why I sang it and played it like I did.... but I thought it came out ok.

Jim it is good to hear your rendition of your well written song. I would love to hear Marty Stuart And His Fabulous Superlatives do this song singing it with a country gospel style, that they use when performing some songs like they do with that song The Unseen Hand.
