Topic: Robot

another kids poem

Robot
I am a robot I am a robot
granddad said
as he walked across the floor
with a cardboard box
on his head
he walked into a door
he took off the box
and rubbed at his bruise
a little cut and a bit of blood
wouldn`t slow him down
yesterday he got lots more injuries
when he was dressed up as a clown

Re: Robot

Brian and Richard keep on commenting and posting its good to have some life on here when I visit. Brian once again you have written another excellent kids' poem.

Violet King was her name
Inflicting pain was her game
Many Scandinavians didn’t like her
Not because she was a one percent biker
Famous for picking up hitch hikers
It was the words tattooed on her forehead
I’m Vi King proud , loud and bad
When asked why are you so loud and gaudy
And have those words tattooed on your head
She replied it's because I am loud and bawdy
That’s why I like to get comments on the words I’ve got written on my head and should have put on chordie
Vi King
When she died her obituary read
Vi King died while out biking over in Greece
Looking for men hitchhiking
She was sadly struck by lightning
Will be remembered for the words written on her head
Vi King more frightening than enticing
Vi King resting in peace in Greece or is it Grease
Now she is deceased  there are no more words for her to release
Why did she pick tattooing when she could have chosen chordie

Re: Robot

You 2 kiwis are nuts! Pun intended. Brian's poem great for kids, not so Peatles, more for grown up kids, me thinks?

As the rain pours down and the moon comes up
The dusty earth turns into muck
My wellies  fill with gungy slop
When I get home she'll have a strop
Get those muddy feet out of my kitchen
Or you'll have a cut that will need stitching
Out I go and strip as told
The neibours look both young and old
Then I get thrown a soap and cloth
You'll stay out there until you're washed
Who will come and wash my back?
We've seen your front so get your wife to do it...poor girl

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Re: Robot

Tommy is three and clever as can be
Asked his  mummy can you teach me my ABC  and how to count
Certainly said mummy as soon as you put my food in your tummy
That’s sounds yummy he said did they teach you that at university
Oh no said mummy university’s are  for the next leaders  Presidents and Prime Ministers
They maybe clever not always wise and could never put food in your tummy like mummy
