Topic: paradise

welp i didnt get any suggestions so this what is what ended up being

https://youtu.be/EK5kCheiv68?si=qXHHwkYt7VO2xS-Q

G                                            C
how can you be                  cleansed by the rain
G                                             C                             D
when you are the cloud      that darkens the sky

so you pray for wind     you pray for the rain
you pray for the storm to take you away

chorus
D                          C               D                            G
who could have known   you could be so blue
Em            C       D               G
in paradise       without you

i woke up this morning    rain coming down
i stared out my window    at the streams on the ground
i wondered how long   before they found the sea
i wondered how long    before they came back to me

chorus

i can hear the waves    i can feel the train
i can watch  my dreams    sailing away
now i stand on the shore     my soul lost at sea
i wait for the tide    to return you to me

chorus

out of tune out of key and out of touch

Re: paradise

That's beautiful Mojo, I'll give it a go later as its morning now and no one wants to hear me squawking at this hour. Again, beautiful.

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

Re: paradise

Wow Mojo listening to your song while gazing at the sea on your YouTube video truly deepens the experience for me. It’s a beautiful reminder of how nature can evoke such profound emotions, especially when thinking about loved ones who are no longer here. Thank you for capturing that feeling so perfectly in your song.

Re: paradise

Just gave your song a listen and as Pete said..."wow". I thought your words were great but together with your voice and guitar and the sound of the waves in the background, sea scape perfect.

Ask not what Chordie can do for you, but what you can do for Chordie.

out of tune out of key and out of touch
